A Sierra alpine lake microsite

Welcome to Lake TahoeEmerald Bay's Vikingsholm castle on the south end, the Heavenly Gondola lifting from the South Lake village to a 9,156-foot Carson Range ridge, and the West Shore's flat bike trail past Sugar Pine Point.

Lake Tahoe sits at 6,225 feet between the Sierra Nevada and the Carson Range — a 22-mile alpine lake straddling the California-Nevada state line, the second-deepest in the United States at 1,645 feet, and ringed by 72 miles of US-50 and Highway 89 lakeshore. The South Lake village anchors the casino-and-Heavenly-Gondola end at Stateline; Emerald Bay and the Vikingsholm castle sit five miles up the West Shore; the West Shore between Homewood and Tahoma threads D.L. Bliss and Sugar Pine Point state parks; and the North Shore towns of Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, and Tahoe City connect to Truckee at the Highway 89 split.

Our rentals run from Heavenly-Village condos walking distance from the gondola, to Tahoe Keys lagoon-frontage homes with private boat docks, West Shore lakefront cabins on the Highway 89 corridor, and South Lake townhomes on Pioneer Trail close to the Sierra-at-Tahoe shuttle. Most condos sleep 4–8 in 2–3 bedroom units; private West Shore lakefront homes sleep 10–14 with private piers for multi-family weeks.
