Bear Mountain Ski Resort
The tallest mountain on this ski resort is 8,805 feet. It has 12 chair lifts. It is a fantastic place for intermediate and advanced skiers. It has a lounge that offers many different kinds of food. Some of these types of foods include Mexican, Asian, and Pizza.
Charles M. Schulz Museum
This museum has many exhibits. These exhibits include both ones that are permanent and ones that travel. Some of the permanent exhibits that they have include the Wrapped Snoopy House and Snoopy Labyrinth. They also have many shows there. Some of these shows include The Charlie Rose Show, Snoopy's Reunion, and Life is a Circus, Charlie Brown.
Roadhouse Winery
This winery produces many different kinds of wine. They produce their wine in a garage, barn, or roadhouse. Some of the wines that they have include Russian River Orange Pinot Noir, Dry Creek Grenache, and Russian River Yellow Pinot Noir. They also have many facilities. Some of these facilities include a restaurant and a night club.
Safari West
This is a safari park. It is a great place for the whole family. There are many animals there. Some of these animals include flamingoes, giraffes, and cheetah's. There is a restaurant there.
City of Ten Thousand Buddhas
This attraction is the largest monastery in the Western Hemisphere. It is over 2,000 acres big. It was influence by Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese architecture. There is a book and gift shop and restaurant there. They have many special events that take place there. Some of these events include the Celebration of Shakyamuni Buddha's Birthday and the Celebration of Gwan Yin Bodhisattva's Birthday.
Redwood National Forest
This forest is one of the best places to see redwood trees. In addition to redwood trees, this national forest also has many other different types of nature. Some of these types of nature include oak woodlands trees, wild riverways, and prairies. It is also a great place to go hiking. You can also ride your bike in the forest.
Mendocino Botanical Gardens
These gardens are very beautiful. They have many different types of flowers. Some of these flowers include heritage roses, daffodils, and magnolias. Many of these flowers only can be see during certain times of the year there. In addition to flowers, they also have wild mushrooms and cherries.
Harvey's Casino
This casino has many casino games, shows, and restaurants. It is also nearby some other casinos that are only a short walk from it. Some of the casino games that it has includes Poker, Slots, and Table Games. Some of the restaurants that it has includes Hard Rock Cafe, Straw Hat Sports Bar and Grille, and the Sage Room. Some of the shows that they have include concerts and comedies.
Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort
This ski resort is great for the whole family to go skiing. The summit of the mountain is 8,852 feet. It has all different types of trail levels that you can ski on. They also offer tubing for people who do not like or want to ski. As for the little ones who are too young for skiing, they can build a snowman in the Snow Play area.
Squaw Valley Ski Resort
This ski resort has some of the best skiing in Lake Tahoe. It is great for intermediate to advanced skiers. A lot of the runs are long. They also have a tram that takes you from one ski area to another. One you get to the top of the mountain, you will have great views of the Lake Tahoe area.
