South Tahoe Ice Arena
This ice arena is open year round. It is the size of the ones that they use in the NHL. In addition to an ice rink, it has 4 locker rooms, a snack bar, retail store, arcade, and two private party rooms. They offer open skate every day to the public. They also offer programs that involve figure skating and ice hockey.
Donner Memorial State Park
Donner Memorial State Park is a fantastic place to take the whole family. There are many activities for people to do there to. Some of these activities include fishing, boating, and hiking. There is even a museum there. This museum is called the Emigrant Trail Museum.
Eagle Lake
Eagle Lake is a great place to go hiking. This is especially a great place if you like hiking trails to be hard. The trail lengths range from 1-5.3 miles. You can even swim in the lake. It's cold, so maybe putting your feet in is enough. Eagle Falls is a good place to have a picnic.
Emerald Bay
Emerald Bay is about 22 miles from Tahoe City. There is also a good hiking trail there. This hiking trail is called the Rubican trail. It goes along the shoreline of the bay and ends at Eagle Point campground. You can also visit Fannette Island.
Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort
Heavenly Ski Resort is a great place to ski. The mountain is over 10,000 feet tall. It has many runs for intermediate skiers. It has 30 chair lifts. Some of the runs are long.
Mammoth Mountain Bike Park
Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is a great place for mountain biking. It is the largest park in the West. It has over 80 miles of scenic cross-country single track and exciting downhills. It covers more than the entire mountain. It is a great place for any person who wants to go mountain biking.
Hot Creek Fish Hatchery
Hot Creek Fish Hatchery is a landscape. There, you can see boiling hot springs, fumaroles, and occasional geysers. You can even go in the hot springs. There is some great fly-fishing in this area. This place is great for adults.
Mono Lake
Mono Lake is one of the oldest lakes in the Western Hemisphere. It is a great place for the whole family. There are many activities to do around there. Some of these activities include swimming and hiking. There are also some restaurants there.

Lake Mary
Lake Mary is the largest lake in the Mammoth Lakes region. It is also the most developed. There are many things that you can do here. Some of these things include fishing, seeing waterfalls, hiking, and back packing. It is also a great place to go camping.
