USS Midway Museum

This is a museum that has many exhibits that relate to the USS Midway. Some of these exhibits include crew's sleeping quarters, the ship's jail, and a massive gallery. This is a great place for families to visit. It has many fun events that all people of any age can enjoy. Some of these activities include two types of fight simulators and short films.

 

Birch Aqaurium

This is an aquarium that is along the coast. It has many exhibits. Some of these exhibits include a tide pool where you can touch the animals and one where you can see a numerous amount of fish that live in coral reefs. The tide pool is outside. Some of the animals that you can touch in the tide pool include hermit crabs and starfish. 

 

Balboa Park

This park is one of the most popular parks in San Diego. It has many museums, attractions, and gardens. Some of the museums that it has includes the Mingei International Museum and San Diego Air and Space Museum. Some of the attractions that it has includes a carousel and a small train. As for the gardens, it has an Australian Garden and Rose Garden.

 

SeaWorld-San Diego

This is an amusement park that has both rides and shows. It has more shows than rides. It also has many exhibits that you can visit. Some of the shows that it has includes a sea lion show and a whale show. Some of the exhibits that it has to offer includes an exhibit where you can see turtles and one where you can see sharks. As for the rides, some of them include a log ride type ride and a roller coaster.

 

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

San Diego Zoo

This zoo has many different kinds of animals. Some of these kinds of animals include amphibians, mammals, and reptiles. It also has many different kinds of habitats that cater to each of the animals. Some of these types of habitats include tropical rain forests and savannas. Some days it is opening during part of the night.

 

Charles Creek Vineyard

This is a great winery that makes many different wines. They make both red and white. It has a tasting room. They even have some specialty wines. Some of these specialty wines are La Bomba Chocolate Dessert Wine and La Bomba Chocolate Raspberry Dessert Wine.

 

Mission San Francisco de Solano

This was one of the last 21 missions that were built. It is also the northest one. It was found in July, 1823. It was named to a missionary to Peruvian Indians. The state of California now owns it.

 

Buena Vista Winery

This is a winery that was founded in 1857. It is California's first premium winery. It is now a California Historic Landmark. It has a Tasting Room and Visitor's Center. It even has a barrel tour.
