Santa Clara sits 4 miles west of St. George at 2,800 feet on the Santa Clara River — the Swiss-pioneer settlement that gave the town its 1854 founding, with Snow Canyon State Park's southern entrance just out of town, the Tuacahn Amphitheatre 5 minutes north in Ivins, and the Black Desert Resort PGA-Tour course 3 minutes east.
Santa Clara sits 4 miles west of St. George on the Santa Clara River — the 1854 Swiss-pioneer settlement that has the most-photographed pioneer home in Washington County (Jacob Hamblin's 1862 stone-and-adobe house) and one of the most-walkable river-trail systems in the region. Snow Canyon State Park's southern entrance is 8 minutes north on the Santa Clara Parkway, the Tuacahn Amphitheatre is 5 minutes north in Ivins, and Black Desert Resort's Tom Weiskopf course (the only PGA-Tour-host course in Southern Utah) is 3 minutes east.
Santa Clara's rental inventory is small — most of the broader Santa Clara / Ivins corridor's homes book through our St. George listings. The handful of dedicated Santa Clara properties cluster near the Snow Canyon back gate and along the Santa Clara River walking trail, with some of the quietest evenings in Washington County and the easiest morning Snow Canyon access.
