A Charlotte County town wrapped around the eastern shore of Charlotte Harbor — South Gulf Cove's 55-mile gridded canal network anchors the southwest with private-pool canal homes a short boat ride from the harbor, the Peace River runs the north shoreline past the Charlotte Sports Park (Tampa Bay Rays' spring-training home), Sunseeker Resort's 2024-opened high-rise complex anchors the harbor's east shore, and Boca Grande's Gulf-front pass is 25 minutes south.
Port Charlotte runs the eastern shore of Charlotte Harbor — the harbor itself is Florida's second-largest estuary, the Peace River feeds it from the north past the Charlotte Sports Park (Tampa Bay Rays' spring-training home February-March), and the harbor's southwest tip empties through Boca Grande Pass into the Gulf. The town's residential anchor is South Gulf Cove, a 55-mile gridded canal-home network where most homes have a private dock with direct lock access to the harbor and Gulf. Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor opened in 2024 on the east harbor shore with a 22-story residential tower and 200-room boutique hotel, golf-and-marina program, and 18 on-site restaurants — the biggest hospitality investment in Charlotte County in 30 years.
Our rentals run from canal-home pool houses in South Gulf Cove with private docks, to East Englewood family-friendly pool homes a short drive from Englewood Beach, walkable Charlotte Harbor-view condos at Sunseeker, and inland three-bedroom Port Charlotte single-family homes for spring-training visiting families. Punta Gorda Airport (PGD, primarily Allegiant) sits 10 minutes north; Southwest Florida International (RSW) is 50 minutes south. Most rentals enforce 3- or 5-night minimums; peak winter rates run February through Easter.
