40 Warm Sands North End Retreat: 3BR Beach Front
- Free Cancellation
A 700-resident barrier island accessible only through Sanibel via the Blind Pass bridge — South Seas Island Resort wraps the north tip with a marina and three pools, the Bubble Room and the Mucky Duck anchor the Andy Rosse Lane village, Turner Beach at the south end is the local-favorite shelling beach, and the offshore islands of Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key, and Useppa run from the Tween Waters marina.
Captiva is reached only through Sanibel — the Sanibel Causeway crosses from Punta Rassa near Fort Myers, the length of Sanibel runs north on Periwinkle Way, and the Blind Pass bridge crosses to Captiva over the deep cut where the two islands separate. The South Seas Island Resort sits at the north tip with its 90-slip marina, the Captiva Inn private-villa colony, three resort pools, and 18 hard-Tru tennis courts. The Andy Rosse Lane walking village in the middle holds the painted-everything Bubble Room (open since 1979), the Gulf-front Mucky Duck (the local-favorite sunset bar), and the cottage-shop row down to Captiva Drive.
Our rentals run from beachfront cottages on the Gulf side of Captiva Drive, to canal-front bay-side homes with private docks at the Tween Waters marina, walk-to-Andy-Rosse village cottages, South Seas resort condos and villas at the north tip, and small-bedroom cottages for couples doing a quiet shelling week. Hurricane Ian's 2022 damage closed several properties for renovation; Captiva's RedAwning inventory is the post-Ian rebuild — every listing is back open and rebuilt to current code. Southwest Florida International (RSW) is 35 miles east, 50–60 minutes via the causeway.
