The easternmost community on Walton County's Scenic Highway 30A, just west of the Phillips Inlet bridge into Bay County — a quiet residential beach neighborhood of upscale beach cottages and dune-walk vacation homes, the new 30Avenue open-air lifestyle center (about 50 boutique shops and restaurants), Camp Helen State Park's 184 acres on the Lake Powell coastal dune lake, and the easiest 30A entry point with the lowest density on the entire 25-mile scenic corridor.
Inlet Beach sits at the easternmost end of Walton County's 25-mile Scenic Highway 30A — a slim sliver of beach community between the Phillips Inlet bridge (the Bay County / Panama City Beach line) and the Rosemary Beach city limit two miles west. Lake Powell, one of Florida's largest coastal dune lakes, wraps around the north side of 30A; Camp Helen State Park's 184 acres anchor Lake Powell's south shore with hiking trails, a kayak launch, beach access, and the original 1940s-era retreat lodge. Inlet Beach proper is the most-residential and lowest-density of the 16 named 30A communities — primarily single-family vacation homes, a handful of low-rise condo buildings (Inlet Dunes, Shoreline Townhomes), and the gated Watersound at Inlet Beach cluster on the south side.
Our Inlet Beach inventory leans into the dune-walk vacation-home pattern — three- and four-bedroom Gulf-side cottages on Pompano, Mala, and Winston streets, with shared or private pools and beach accesses; one- and two-bedroom Inlet Dunes condos with shared pool and beach walkover; a few four-, five-, and six-bedroom Watersound and 30A-side luxury homes with private pools, hot tubs, and Gulf views. The new 30Avenue open-air lifestyle center on the north side of 30A is the walking-distance anchor — Buddy's Pizza, Bear and Wolf coffee, the Wine Bar at 30Avenue, and about 50 boutiques. Northwest Florida Beaches International (ECP) is 25 minutes east; Destin–Fort Walton Beach (VPS) is 50 minutes west.
