A 3,000-foot Sierra-foothill town on Highway 120 — the Iron Door Saloon (California's oldest continuously operating saloon, est. 1852), the gated Pine Mountain Lake community with its own marina, golf course, and equestrian center, and the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite National Park 25 miles east up the canyon.

Welcome to GrovelandCalifornia's oldest saloon on Highway 120, an 18-hole gated lake community a mile away, and the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite 25 miles up the road. The Yosemite gateway with a Gold Rush downtown attached.

Groveland sits at 3,000 feet on Highway 120 between Oakdale and the Yosemite Big Oak Flat Entrance — the 1852 Iron Door Saloon and the 1849 Groveland Hotel anchor the three-block historic Main Street, the Pine Mountain Lake gated private community holds a 200-acre lake with marina, golf course, country club, equestrian center, and three private beaches a mile north of town, and Stanislaus National Forest swimming holes (Rainbow Pool, the South Fork Tuolumne River) sit ten miles east on the way to the park.

Our rentals concentrate inside the Pine Mountain Lake gated community — Sleeps-10-to-12 vacation homes near Lake Lodge Beach, Marina Beach, and Dunn Court Beach, with HOA access to the golf course, tennis courts, country club, and pool included in the stay. A flat $50-per-vehicle gate pass at the front gate covers the full visit. The shorter-stay condo and small-cabin inventory sits on the Highway 120 corridor closer to downtown.
