Nine miles of Atlantic strand at the north end of the Grand Strand — four distinct beach sections (Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Crescent Beach, Windy Hill), the Carolina Shag dance halls of Main Street, the rebuilt Cherry Grove Pier on the inlet, and Barefoot Resort's four championship golf courses on the Intracoastal Waterway.
North Myrtle Beach is the quieter, more residential half of the Grand Strand — incorporated as a single city in 1968 from four older beach communities, each still keeping its own identity. Cherry Grove sits at the north end against the salt-marsh inlet (the 985-foot Cherry Grove Pier reopened in 2022 after the 2020 storm rebuild). Ocean Drive — "OD" to anyone who's been here before — holds the two-block historic Main Street district that's the spiritual home of the Carolina Shag, the official state dance, with Fat Harold's Beach Club and Duck's Beach Club still running the floor most weekends. Crescent Beach is the middle quarter; Windy Hill anchors the south end where the strand meets the Briarcliffe-Restaurant Row stretch.
Our rentals run from oceanfront mid-rise condo towers — Avista Resort and Prince Resort on the OD/Cherry Grove line, Sea Watch on Crescent Beach, Ocean Bay Club at Windy Hill, the Sea Cloisters cottages tucked into Cherry Grove's residential streets — to the inland Intracoastal-side condos at Barefoot Resort (Yacht Club Villas, Tilghman Lakes, Wedgewood Court) where four championship golf courses, the largest pool in South Carolina, and the bridge to Barefoot Landing's House of Blues and Alabama Theatre are all walkable.
