A four-mile neon stretch of Tennessee's Parkway between Sevierville and Gatlinburg — Dollywood and Splash Country to the east, the 1830 Old Mill District to the west, the 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at The Island in the middle, and the National Park's most-visited entrance ten minutes south.
Pigeon Forge runs four miles up the Little Pigeon River between Sevierville and Gatlinburg — Dollywood and its Splash Country water park share a 160-acre campus on the eastern ridge, the 1830 Old Mill District anchors the river crossing on the Parkway, the 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel runs at The Island, and the Sugarlands entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is ten minutes south. Cades Cove's 11-mile loop is forty minutes via the Wears Valley road.
