The deck features plenty of space for sunning as well as a covered area that is perfect for enjoying a meal or drink with friends and family. Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

The house was very nice, clean and well maintained. All amenities of the house were in good working order. This is a very comfortable house to stay in.
Enjoyed most everything, but bedding, sheets kept sliding off. And need new mattress pads,very ragged. Loved the open floor plan. <br/>The view was a breath taking five star.

What a view this is a great house. We had a wonderful vacation and our boys Zach and Baxter<br/>loved going down the back steps to the fenced yard. House was very clean and had everything<br/>we needed. Sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and sunset must not be missed. The ladies that run the linen service are awesome too and we only rent from Cobb Realty, highly<br/>recommend them both. See you next year, cant wait!
We had a great time at Crystal Beach! This home was perfect, the view was awesome and we couldn't have asked for anything more!
We had a fantastic time! I highly recommend this rental to anyone who is interested in a beautiful beachfront property that may be traveling with a family pet. An added bonus is that the back staircase goes directly into a large fenced yard where your pet can play. It is a beach access road but the traffic was minimal during our stay. We also enjoyed dining at the Stingaree which was less than one block from the cabin.
Our family and friends had a very relaxing time at the beach. The house had everything you need to make yourself at home. This is the second time we have stayed, and we will be back....
House was clean, but several Light bulbs were out, Could not see in the Closet, and Shower in Hall way very dark, Overall house was all I expected, Outside area for My Pup , great!!!! The Garage area, very dirty inside, and doors were coming off hinges,<br/>Kitchen was great,
Even though the weather wasn't great, we really enjoyed staying at A La Playa. Cabin was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. We are already discussing our next stay! Cobb's has it going on!
This house is wonder for a small group. Views were fabulous.
This was our third year in a row to stay here. Great views and pet friendly make this a good choice-free movies too were a nice treat. Cobb employees really great and helpful in getting the advertised WIFI working since the router had "disappeared" and had to be replaced. Be back next year for our annual vacation.
My husband and I decided last minute to find a beach house to rent over the New Year holiday. We were to arrive New Year's Eve afternoon. Cobb Real Estate were the only company we found that could accommodate us and be able to get us a key to a rental.<br/> We found this rental on the website which was available. It was fantastic! It was very cold but the view of the ocean from the living room and bedroom was wonderful. We even were able to watch fireworks all night from the couch in the living room. <br/> The house was very modern, clean and comfortable. It was a great holiday and we will be back in March!<br/> Thank you Cobb Real Estate!
Cabin was very nice and clean and the location was excellent, beachfront and close to the beach entrance. Just the right size for two couples and two dogs. The fenced yard was handy. This is a quiet subdivision, outside the popular "zoo" area, which would be perfect for families during the summer when the "crazies" are out! <br/>Cobb realty also had a pleasant surprise...a DVD kiosk with FREE movies for your stay, yes FREE! Very cool perk. <br/>We would not hesitate to stay here again and I would definitely recommend it to others.
We had a fabulous time... The weather was super great for sitting out on the deck and the wave noises always make a peaceful sound.... So comfortable and truly lovely....
We had a great Labor Day weekend at A La Playa. The best view we've had while renting with Cobb. The view from the bedroom and living room were fantastic!! The house was very nice and roomy with a large laundry room, large master bath and lots of storage space. Loved waking up to the beautiful view of the water.
We loved our stay at LaPlaya. House was perfect for our family, it was clean and had all necessary furnishing. The view was just fabulous. we will definitely come back again!
Although we had a little rain and a weird sea weed phenomenon this year it was still a great time had by all. The house was very comfortable and I loved having a fenced yard. Golf carts are a must and take a trip to Pleasure Pier, the kids loved it.
The beach house is beautiful! The people at Cobb Real Estate were more than helpful with all our needs. <br/>My husband and I celebrated 38 years of marriage there and were not disappointed but so blessed with the beauty of the beach house and the view of the beach. It is literally steps to the beach and the views were so very beautiful. I would love to rent that home again next year.
The cabin was clean and just the right size for us. The only drawback was a faulty doorknob on the front door that made it hard to get in and out of the cabin.

This property needs painting and cleaning on the outside and in the garage. We cleaned the garage when we got there it had dirt and weeds inside of it and the outside shower had mold on the floor .The inside was nice . I would stay at a different house next time I go to Chrystal beach.
This was our second time at A La Playa and my wife and I had another wonderful time. Everything is as advertised; clean, spacious and great location. Staff is wonderful and professional. The only problem we encountered was that we went to the Stingaree for dinner and the food and service was terrible. But overall we had a great time at A La Playa.
Very good experience at the A La Playa. Having the fenced backyard made the trip so much easier. Will definitely book again.
Wonderful 6 night getaway with my mom and dad. Lots of smiles and laughs. Beautiful accommodations with everything we needed to be comfortable. Will definitely be back in 2018!

The house was in a great location with easy access to the beach. For pet owners, the fenced in yard was a bonus. Could use a furniture update, with couches a bit worn. Jeep Fest in May was loud with crowded beaches but overall we had a relaxing time and will come again!
