Reviews
We had great time. The area is loaded with restaurants and has a great beach.
Excellent studio in very good location. Views of both the ocean and the mountains are great. Clean. Great amenities at the Whaler. You could not ask for a better location.
Renting a condo sight unseen is a nervous proposition, however the moment we arrived, we were blown away as it was everything as promised. It is centrally located and appointed perfectly. We would love to make it an annual privilege. Will be back!
The condo was in a perfect location and exactly what we needed for our trip! We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
Great location, right on the beach
Excellent place to stay on Kaanapali Beach! Nice view of the ocean (exactly as pictured) and beautiful sunsets. The Whaler's property itself is breathtaking, and they have an attractive pool and offer free towels and chairs (for both the pool and beach). The property is also just steps away from Whalers Village, which has many restaurants, food court, and shops as well as a bus stop that will take you (cheaply) to Lahaina (including a Safeway grocery store there). For drivers, The Whaler has a lot of nearby parking available, and parking fees are covered in the resort fee (which you pay directly to The Whaler separate from the rental price). That was $25/day for us plus taxes.
King bed was very comfortable (sturdy) and the sofa bed was quite nice for a sofa bed. Lots of drawers to put away your things, and a well appointed kitchen for cooking and nice sized dining room table for eating. Lots of space. Worked great for my family of three. Also, a closet in the room has a large cooler and two beach chairs (though we didn't use them).
Realty company was quick to reply to inquiries but curt in responses and offered no flexibility (no early check-in, etc). Didn't feel like I could ask for suggestions or help like with other B&B hosts. Fortunately, The Whaler's front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Had everything we needed
Great studio with beautiful views and all amenities close by. I would highly recommend!
We had a great experience staying in unit 518. The unit was advertised appropriately and had all the things we needed and more (a ton of spices were available for cooking!). The building amenities were wonderful, a nice gym, beautiful pool, great ocean front and extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Kim was easy to work with and quick to respond!
I really love the place and was perfect.I would definitely come again...
We are lifelong Lahaina residents, decades before the 1st hotel (Sheraton) was built in Kaanapali. Had my 2 adult children stay here who came to help us after losing family home to Lahaina fires. Superior & superb accommodations at a good rate. The hotel & it’s employees exude the true spirit of Aloha, making your stay a truly wonderful experience! You
Great location, right on the beach
