Our LEGALLY ZONED vacation rental at the Waikiki Grand, 134 Kapahulu Avenue. Absolutely awesome unit located just a block from the beach. In fact, you can see the ocean and the beach from the front door! Large unit with kitchen and path...All private!
Within our clean private unit, our guests will enjoy:
• Queen murphy bed to comfortably sleep two, with all bedding and linens
• LED HDTV with free cable service
• Unlimited free high-speed internet/WIFI (avg. d/l speeds are 70Mps)
• Kitchenette including refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooktop with glasses, dishes and flatware, cooking utensils with pots and pans
• Air conditioner
• private bathroom including towels and wash cloths

• complimentary start supplies include shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Guests are responsible for replacements.

Location, Location, Location! We are in the middle of it all.
Much to see and do in Waikiki. The World’s most famous beach is just a block away. Watch the sunsets from nearly any vantage point along the beach and see the Friday night fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The nearby neighborhood includes several major hotels and numerous large and small restaurants and nightclubs that cater to every nationality. Ask the kamaaina (locals) for their tips. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and other “World Class Shopping” may be found on Kalakaua Avenue (the street fronting the beach). And just across the street you will find famous Kapiolani park and the Waikiki Shell, Honolulu Zoo. The Waikiki Aquarium is about three blocks away. Diamond Head, golfing and tennis courts are just minutes away.
Public parking is available onsite at $26.50/daily fee. Pay at the front desk. Metered street parking is nearby but limited. But who needs a car in Waikiki? Everything is in walking distance. If you have an itch to venture out, the island's bus transit system is awesome.
ABOUT ILLEGAL VACATION RENTALS
The city and county has recently passed new enforcement measures against vacation rentals which are not legally zoned to operate. There are an estimated 8,000-10,000 illegal rentals currently listed on booking sites (including AIRBNB) for the island. Booking sites are not currently disclosing what is and isn't a legal rental. Basically, most of everything outside of Waikiki is illegal with very few exceptions with some illegal in Waikiki too but it is a safer bet. If you are booked now or intend to book outside of Waikiki or any rental not legally zoned and operated, BEWARE as your reservation may be cancelled without any notice including during your stay. Have a back up plan or better yet, just book a legally zoned rental.
