Thanksgiving week our family had the best time in this beautiful home.
There was so much room to spread out and enjoy the space. The lovely hot tub
was a wonderful feature! The home is centrally located in a beautiful area. We already miss being there and can’t wait to book it again for another stay. Turnkey made the whole process so easy!!

The house was comfortable and easy to navigate and would be great in the winter for ski trips.
The only serious issue we had was the dusty backyard, September, not dog friendly and next door home owners had a couple nasty Chihuahuas that bark, growl and snap at the gaps in the fence at every sound. Back yard could only be used for one thing and we had to clean the dogs feet and ours after he was done. It was really dirty and dusty, in winter this would not be a problem, not sure why they don't water it down once in awhile. Busy street as well. Decks were dirty.

This house has a lot of potential. It’s a nice house overall with a very nice master suite upstairs along with a game room. The house has two full baths but the one downstairs that is shared by two bedrooms is very small with only a pedestal style sink. The beds in the house were quite comfortable which isn’t always the case with vacation rentals. The biggest problem with house was that it had a mouse infestation! While I never saw a mouse, they were pooping inside the kitchen and a bedroom downstairs inside some of my belongings! I had seen the droppings under the kitchen sink soon after checking in and contacted Turnkey. At that time I thought the infestation was only active in the garage which didn’t bother me too much. I had to complain about the house also not being really clean with bedding needing laundering (hair and stains on bedding when I got there!). Turnkey have me a small refund since we also had to vacuum the whole house. I don’t think the cleaners spent much time in the house between rentals. When I was packing to leave the house I discovered the mouse poop in my bags and complained to Turnkey. They gave me the run around saying the exterminators would be in there and if they found an active infestation I’d get more money back. That never happened. I don’t think I will rent through Turnkey again because of this.

This house has a lot of potential. A redesign of the downstairs bathroom with a different style sink could help. Having regular exterminator appointments would be good. And a better management company. They should provide more basics like paper napkins, a little laundry detergent since they ask you to throw a load of towels in when you leave! And more paper towels as we had about half a cheap roll. The backyard is also all dirt and a little landscaping would be nice. The badminton nets should be left up as in the pics online.

The house was very nice, but filthy dirty. One of the main reasons we rented a home for our stay in Tahoe was so we could cook our meals rather than eating out the whole stay. There are numerous hotels in Tahoe with much better rates, but we would have to eat every meal out. The cooking utensils, pots and pans were awful, the floors throughout the house were black with dirt and black hairs. Our grandson wore socks that were black after walking around in the house and the soles of others were black -- disgusting. No way would I walk through the house without shoes until the floors and rugs were cleaned. The bedding was dirty with dog hair (we think it was dog hair) and smelled like it sat in a wet washing machine(along with some towels)for a couple of days. the beautiful views were through dirty windows and the hot tub setting couldn't be turned down, it was too hot for us to really enjoy. We ended up going out to buy cleaning supplies and spent some of our vacation time cleaning the house so that it was livable. We never heard from a live person from Turnkey (even though I called, left voicemail and electronic messages) until we were preparing to checkout. I was VERY disappointed with Turnkey. They refunded the cleaning fee, but that really doesn't make up for the time and money spent to clean. It almost felt like they really didn't care that the house was dirty and the cooking utensils were horrible. The last day of our stay I spoke to a man who apparently lived in Tahoe, he said they were very busy. Oh, okay. Guess we should have booked our vacation at a better time for them. Maybe you just need a better cleaning service and someone to inspect after it is allegedly cleaned.

After two weeks of renting the cabin we thought we were set to move in the day of, but once we were right outside of the cabin we did not receive a Code to open the door after calling to resolve this problem we were told that only a us citizen could rent a cabin even though the payment went through a week ago, I thought I was pathetic that once it was already payed and processed we still could not get in our rental simply because the person we rented it was not a US citizen so we had to cancel our reservation and ask one of our invited guest who happens to be a US citizen to please book it for us, this whole process took two hours making us take outside the cabin until it was resolved that's if it did , once it all went though and we get a code we were happy to be inside and decided to enjoy our stay after what had just happend, but the next day while enjoying our stay two people from the TurnKey company came and interrupted our stay saying that they needed to verify the identity of the person who rented the cabin , when we thought that her being a US citizen was not going to cause the same problem , so they told us that they needed to see her , when she had barely left to the town with her friend to enjoy her stay so we had to bother her for a whole hour by asking her to send the representative who was there her ID picture and to video call us so he can verify her. After 30 minutes at our stay they kept on trying to figure out what was wrong with the reservation and an excuse to evacuate us until they realized that it was thier fault in the first place and that code they gave us was only for personal use and not guest use , so they immediately looked ashamed and offered to get us beer or wine which we thought was so unprofessional . Afterall they said they would be back in an hour and once again I thought this was not over and we would be evicted but once they came back they had two bottles of wine which we didnt even drink because we were so stressed about it

We had a great time at 1251 Golden Bear Trail. We loved the 2 decks and the backyard. Everything worked well. There were some issues: dog hair had not been satisfactorily vacuumed after last guest's stay, mice, game pieces missing in Battleship and Clue, a broken screen in kitchen, a large spaghetti pot would've been nice, but otherwise entirely satisfactory. Turnkey immediately responded on the mice by setting up mice deterrents. Also, there was a power outage, and Turnkey monitored it for us.

Great location, very clean, lots of amenities! This house has it all. It is very comfortable and set up beautifully. The house comes with a hot tub, bonfire pit, games, volley ball net, garage, fully upgraded/newly remolded and lots of utensils/bake wear, etc. Highly recommend this location, I can't wait to rent it again!

Home was a three bedroom 2 bath with plenty of room for a large family to enjoy themselves. Just bring your food or go into town a seven minute drive where there are major grocery stores to sip at. The lake is about five minutes away and and launch ramps run about $17 to put your boat in. Casinos are 10 minutes away for those who enjoy gambling. The house has plenty of games two decks a game room and outside patio table and chairs. It is pet friendly and please remember to clean up after your pet to keep it pet friendly. I give a 10 out of 10 rating

Enjoyed our stay, We had one problem. There was no air conditioning in the house, and the week we stayed there the temperatures were over 90 on some days. We finally had to call management to bring us fans to try and cool the master bedroom suite. I suggest that and overhead fan should be installed in the MBR suite

Great home. Convenient location. Well maintained. Perfect size for a couples getaway. Only recommendation would be for more towels and to replace the numerous light bulbs that are out. Would definitely rent this home again.

Everything was great. I had no issues while staying at this house. Loved the fact they are pet friendly. The surround sound on the speakers was a little off but it was a great over all experience.

Great place for vacation had everything u needed down to board games for the kids all the extra accessories you need for the house two bbq pits the only negative thing the a.c. was not the greatest but overall I would highly recommend

Huge roomy and updated vacation home with all the features a family can want. We will definitely come back to this house next summer with the kids. I stayed with my two sons, my wife, and my mother-in-law and we still had so much more room left. The home is a newer home with no issues. The house isn't too far from town.
