Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

Location was great. Our unit could have used a bit of upkeep but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean . Management company was professional.

This cute little condo is well maintained and sits right on the Fazio Golf Course at Turtle Bay. It is steps away from Lei Leis restaurant, and a short hike to your choice of beach. The hotel in the complex is the only resort within reach for miles. Loved the location of complex. This init is close to the pool.

We had a great 4 days overlooking the golf course. The property was conveniently located to experience the north shore. The restaurant on site was an added bonus for a delicious take out dinner. Management made it very easy to check in/out. Codes and keys. No need to go to the office. We will definitely be back.

This is my second stay at this condo and would stay there again. The photos accurately depict the property. The condo was very clean. There were a few upgrades since my last visit such as new lamps in the bedroom, new upholstery on the dining room chairs, etc. The condo has two ACs but even with the hot weather I didn't need to use them. The orientation of the unit allows even a light breeze to keep things comfortable. The kitchen appliances are in good working order and there are adequate utensils for cooking. Pest control is difficult in the tropics but I saw no critters. I contacted the property manager with two small issues and there was a quick response. The only suggestions I have are to use brighter light bulbs in the living room and repaint the bathroom.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this property. The photos accurately depict the condo. Check-in was a breeze but if you plan to arrive after dark, make sure you have turn by turn instructions. A night time arrival will also require your smartphone's flashlight in order to enter the access code. These after dark instructions apply to any property at Turtle Bay and in no way diminish the desirability of this one. Hawaii is clearly a tropical environment and ants and other critters can be hard to totally eliminate. However, I didn't even see a single ant during my 11 night stay. One reason I selected this condo was because of AC in both the bedroom and living room. I'm from an arctic area and was concerned about the heat. I never turned on the AC because the trade winds kept things nice and cool. The condo's location provides easy access to the beach as well as the many activities at Turtle Bay resort such as surf lessons, horseback riding, Segway beach rides, tennis courts, helicopter tours, rental bikes, hiking trails, and excellent restaurants. Be sure and check out Lei Lei's! Pay particular attention to what the owner provides in the way of soap, paper towels, TP, shampoo, etc. I've seen reviews where guests are upset that certain things are only provided in limited quantities. The owner is very clear on what is and what isn't provided. Read the information they provide you! As constructive criticism, I suggest increased lighting. The bedroom had one low watt CFL light fixture on the dresser which made it difficult to find things in the dark. Inexpensive small lamps on the bed's end tables would solve the problem. I also suggest switching the condo's many CFL bulbs with LED bulbs - 800 lumen bulbs would suffice. LEDs use less electricity and last longer for the same number of lumens. If my experience at home is any indication, LED bulbs provide excellent lighting at minimal operating cost. Would I stay

I Stayed @ Turtle Bay dew to the stress @ work.I would recommended to anyone who need to relax & just kick back. Minutes walk from the beach & a nice quite time @ the condo. Mahalo

I've stayed in this condo a number of times over the last 5 months. I'm glad to see they finally removed the mystery stain next to the bed, however the shower constantly has problems. I'm not sure how this place is considered 3 stars when there are much nicer 2 stars..

Lanai door still off the track (Stayed there 10/09). Also dishwasher rack track problem, kitchen ant problem worse, missing bulb in lr lamp and no paper towel. Mosquitos in bathroom. Grout needs cleaning, carpet too. Limited glassware.

Pleasant Condo in very nice and safe area. Clean and comfortable (a little bit dated) but very clean. Fully stocked kitchen made meals very convenient. Located beside the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort Hotel. Beach is beautiful and within a short walking distance. The only complaint was that the Pro Bowl players were at Turtle Bay Estates for 2 of the days we were visiting and the resort was on lockdown. Security was tight and it was uncomfortable to even walk to the public beach. This was no fault of the condo owner. We were able to visit the resort bar and restaurants the other 2 days and it is definitely worth the visit.

We were very glad we booked a hotel room for the first night so we could go to Oahu and then talk to the rental company. They let us look at three units. This one was far better than the other two. It was bright and clean looking without a bunch of tired and bad décor like the other units.

The air conditioner is only in the bedroom and it has a loud rattle. Some nights we didn't need it when the breeze was blowing, but a few nights it was very necessary. It would sure be nice to have an air conditioner in the main room/kitchen as sometimes it was needed.

Having a nice big smart TV with broadband internet for downloading movies was a real plus.

It is a 10 minute walk to the water, but it is sure cheaper than the hotel or the waterside villas. It has a great view of the golf course and not of the other units.

It has a good quality king size bed with nice linens.

i had a great time at turtle bay, got some fun waves there and up down the road at sunset beach. the condo was clean tidy and had everything i need in there. the view out to the golf course was nice and provided an open feel to the place. id would stay there again. the ladies at the realestate were very helpful when i turned up a day early and got me in that day, high fives to them.

It was pretty cool. I wanted a quiet comfortable space where I could work between surfing and reporting on the event at Pipe and 33W fit the bill nicely. Everything in the condo was clean and functioned just right. Property management was professionally handled though I would suggest a key drop-off in the immediate area of the condos might be a good idea, rather than driving several miles out of your way on departure.

Overall this unit was very nice and clean. It is located near the entrance to the pool, which was very convenient. The screen door in the living room was left open (it does not lock) which let in a nice breeze. The only downside was there is an a/c unit in the bedroom which made a ton of noise, used it for only a few hours the first night.

Overall the condo was really nice - we chose it due to its clean look with wood floors, modern furniture, and washer and dryer in unit. I was very appreciative of everything the owner had thought of that we'd need such as coffee filters, laundry detergent, etc. The a/c in the bedroom worked very well, although the one downside of the condo was that there was no a/c in the living area. It could get pretty warm in there in the afternoon. Also, we would have appreciated if the management company cleaned the floors better - our feet were pretty dirty after a couple hours, however they were very responsive, nice, and professional. Overall, our stay was fantastic! Highly recommended!!

Screen door needs to be fixed. Screen door would not stay shut after locking it. you could pull it open from outside.
Upgrade the tv to flat screen digital and put a blow dryer in it.
Other then that my stay was very nice.

Excellent. The condo was very clean and well appointed. The location is close to Lei Lei's golf course resturant. The views from the lanai are relaxing. Only disappointed I had is the description did not advise us of 2 sets of stairs from the parking lot and to the condo. Close to the pool. Bed had a good quality mattress. We spent 2 wks. in this condo and were very comfortable. The exhaust pipe of the dryer does not lead outside, so the condo, particulary the bedroom gets very humid...wet quilts and sheets which was disappointing. 2 air conditioners which were needed. Our family of 4 adult children (rented 2 other condos) fit around the dining room table for dinners. Lighting needs to improve in dining room and living room (for reading). We had a great vacation.

I am a frequent user of VRBO properties and this by far was the least user-friendly. The property itself was fine - location was great, it was clean, and amenities were average, but exceptional for the price point. I don't think I would recommend this property for more than 2 adults and a child. I would stay here again if it weren't for the property management group.

One, once I put in the request via VRBO, I did not receive a response for over 24 hours. I was anxious to book something but since I hadn't heard back, I continued my search. I didn't even know I had the reservation until my credit card had been fully charged. Two, don't show up at night. Finding the place in the dark is not easy. Also, I couldn't find any information whether there was WiFi or not but the service in the condo isn't the greatest so I couldn't even pull up information on the mobile app they make you download. And finally, if the key was in the lock box to begin with, why do I need to drive 3 miles in the opposite direction to drop it off in a mail box that I don't even know if it's the right place. The whole rental experience was probably the worst I've had with VRBO. Note to the owners, please look into another management group for your own sake.

The king size bed was nice and washer and dryer worked very well. Appreciated the cross ventilation throughout the unit. The maintenance of the grounds was fantastic. BUT this unit was very cheaply furnished and maintained, Closet doors would not stay in tracks and would not even close. The walls need paint with a good paint that won't wash off with water. Kitchen needs more equipment like a cutting board, pizza cutter, and sharper knives. Pictures on walls are cheap and glued on and not framed, Kitchen sink and bath tub were chipped and very old. Ants were everywhere and even got in our suitcases. Plants in back need to be cut way back so as to have a view of the golf course. Not worth the money charged.

Overall we had a good experience, a few enexpensive things would have made it much better. Upgrade the couch, it’s verry uncomfortable. The weather wasn’t great requiring us to stay inside more then we would have liked, a comfortable couch would be nice. Provide more towels. Paint the bathroom, the walls are speckled with white dots and the wall behind the toilet needs repaired. Upgrade the cable package, a movie Chanel would be nice. The unit was clean and well maintained. Just a few things I would suggest.

The unit we had compared to friends who also stayed during this time zone was below par. And we reserved & paid for around the same time. They had 2 bathrooms & more updated furniture. Bed was pure mush! The fan light in the living room wouldn’t turn off, ever! And when we called, it was the weekend then Presidents’ Day, told to call when weekend over. Well, we left Wednesday so no use calling Tuesday.
It was a great location but not a great unit for the money!
