Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

Amazing value overall...the location was perfect, close enough to the action without being IN the touristy part of the North Shore. Extremely convenient for families, surfers (5 min drive to Sunset, 8 min drive to Rocky Pt and Pipeline), couples, golfers, and virtually anyone who wants a perfect place for a great, very reasonable price!

The condo was nice, although we weren't there much of the time. It was clean and well equipped. The only complaint I have is that the fan in the downstairs bathroom was very loud and annoying.

We have rented here 4 times now and this particular unit twice. For the money it is a good value especially when there are 6 of you. We have come to expect geckos both inside and outside. The noise level mostly comes from the crashing waves. Even though you aren't right beside the water, you can hear the water. Noise from neighbours varies on who is staying around you. The maintenance crew keeps the area tidy. The rental agent is very helpful with any issue that comes up. Better quality cooking utensils would be nice but the basics are there. As to what to expect, keep in mind that these are older units in a tropical location and w/that in mind they are comfortable. If you are shopping at Foodland, get their customer card to save $. If we hadn't had a good vacation we wouldn't keep returning. After a week in Waikiki the peace and quiet here were welcome.

We were there for a golf tournament at Turtle Bay and a group of friends and I stayed at the room. It was very nice, very clean, and more than we expected. The management company was kind and helpful. The shower upstairs was broken and had a hard time not getting scalded by hot water. The rest of the place was perfect. Other people who had a room at the hotel came down to hang out at the condo because it was such a nice place to hang out with friends. Thank You

Arrived on Sunday night, 1/27/13 in a rain storm. Did not have the gate code or lock box codes (found out later that they were send via e-mail on 1/23/13); however our Hawaiian vacation started on 1/20/13. Fortunately, we were able to contact the turtle bay web site and secure the after hours emergency contact number to obtain the neceessary codes. Had we known in advance via the confirmation e-mail that a follow up e-mail would be providing the code information, we would have checked our e-mail account. The place was clean but could use an update in the applicances. Our unit did not have a hair dryer. Some ants and bugs were found sharing our condo.

Considering the price this was a great place to stay in Oahu. I liked that it was away from Waikiki/the touristy area, and we got to have more time around locals on the North Shore. The beaches near Turtle Bay are also gorgeous and you have more time alone with nature. The condo itself was tidy, had the essentials, as well as a nearby beach and swimming pools that residents had access to. Overall, if you're on a budget I recommend this place!

We had a very nice time at the condo. The property was in good shape, although the master bedroom screen door was broken and unusable. Another thing that may be good is to have a doorstop available for the master bedroom door so that it doesn't keep slamming shut. These are just little things though that can improve the property a bit. I was very glad that the condo had a booster seat there for my toddler -- that was a nice surprise. Overall, we had a very nice time on our vacation there.

my family and I loved the stay at Turtle Bay. We surfed, rode horses and laid on the beach. We also explored the island from the convenient location of the estates. Had no problems with any aspect, beds were great, kitchen functional and views beautiful.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Our condo Alea, was beautiful! The condo only had 2 small problems, the microwave door handle was broken and the toaster didn't work properly. otherwise, we give this condo an A+. Very comfortable unit, quiet, and easy to access from parking areas. Close to pool as well. Easy access through secured gate. Unit's close dryer had an internal vent, so it heats up the loft, advice, don't do laund let just before you are ready to go to bed, the loft will be too hot.
Nice view from the 1st floor lanai of the 1st Hole Fairway.
Just overall, beautiful, peaceful, and had the conveniences of home.

Although this unit located in a fantastic location. There were some issues with the unit itself. The circuit breaker tripped when we try to use the upper room ceiling fan. The down stairs bedroom AC turns on but no air blows out. The bottom restroom bath tub drainage plugged it took awhile for it to drain completely and the stove....only 2 out of the 4 burners worked. We made due and tried not to let this bother our stay.

This was a great place to stay. Great location if you want to be out in the country and away from the city. Very clean, updated floors, kitchen and bathrooms. Washer & Dryer a plus. The unit was also right next to the pool and that was really great to not have to walk far to take a dip.

The condo in itself was in a great location and the condo management company was great to deal with, very prompt and thorough. The two bedrooms and loft worked great for us. However, the cleaning of the unit was sub-par and we actually needed to re-vacuum the floors when we arrived.

detergent for washing machine was barely enough for one wash. garbage bags were too small for the garbage can in the unit.
we live here and have learned to bring out own stuff. for the summer months a couple of pedestal fans would be great as loft and dining area stay really warm and dont catch the overhead fan breezes. there were no directions that we saw on how to let others in once we were in the unit. we finally asked the security people.

The condo was in poor condition. Pests in the condo and obviously ingress points for something that ate our bananas at night - like a mouse. Since the baseboards in the kitchen did not provide a seal, we thought that is where they came from. Furniture old and tired. Bedding old and tired. Kitchen utensils old and tired.

This is a lovely place! Specifics: (1)When we pulled up, it was very late/dark, so we had a hard time initially finding the correct condo. Management could consider putting lights on/near the signs. Once you get the hang of the property though, finding your way around is a breeze. (2)The place was clean and airy! The only complaint - the upstairs carpet should be replaced soon, as it was a bit musty. I would not recommend walking on it with bare feet. The downstairs, however, is a dream complete with a beautifully upgraded kitchen and flooring. (3)The views - just perfect! A short walk to the beach, a barn nearby with friendly horses, beautiful pathways that lead to all sorts of fun things (especially the giant Banyan tree), and sunsets. (4)The pool - they obviously take great care of it! No complaints here whatsoever. Very child-friendly too. (5)Property Management - decent. There was confusion on the parking situation since we needed two parking spaces. The paperwork stated verbatim: "I will need 2 parking spaces (West side of the property only. Only one is a reserved spot) East side must get a second parking pass from the Resident Manager or Security." Well, we stayed on the West side, yet only got 1 pass. So we parked the other car in 'guest parking'. Thankfully, the office (down the road!) was still open when we received a note on our car regarding a tow. We were able to get another parking pass just in time, but stress could have been avoided if the paperwork was clear. Additionally, it took 24 hours for them to send someone to fix the broken latch on the screen door, as well as the ceiling fan that offered a consistent tortuous squeak. The man who came to fix the issues however, was professional and kind. (6)Amenities - buy your own laundry detergent (because chemicals = yuck) when you get there; pick up extra toilet paper and trash bags. Also there was NO paper/pens for grocery lists, etc. A SWEET rental - a few minor tweaks and this place would be 5 star!!

But the condo is out dated, ac window units barley cool the unit, and very little supplies. the landlord should charge another 50-100 dollars for TP/PT soap, ETC.

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Estates at Turtle Bay. The location on the North Shore is fantastic; it's a short drive to wonderful beaches, shopping, hiking, etc.. The property is secure and required a key entry, so felt very safe. The unit was in a great location overlooking the Fazio golf course, and the ocean in the distance, a five minute walk to the beach and the amenities of the Turtle Bay Resort (restaurants, bars, snorkelling, tennis, golf, etc.) Our unit, #81, has a newly remodelled, well equipped kitchen. The owners provided everything you will need for cooking, including coffee filters and salt and pepper. We brought our own cooking spices with us, which I would recommend. (The can opener did not work and should be replaced) The rest of the unit is older, but in decent shape and very clean. The beds provided were a bonus for our family (2 queens and 2 twins in the loft, so all 5 adults had a bed rather than a fold out couch) and are pretty comfortable, although one of the twins is tilted and in need of fixing) The fans in the bathrooms are very loud, and perhaps need replacing. The furniture was comfortable enough for the amount of time we spent at the condo. The lanai has a wonderful view, we enjoyed watching the golfers come by every day while having our morning coffee and evening drinks! The outdoor furniture is old and not very comfortable and should be updated, but it served the purpose for the 5 of us. One of the 3 pools on the property is right outside the unit which was very clean and well kept. We used the pool areas a few times, and were often the only ones there. (Note: There are no BBQ's on the property, only old fashioned grills at the pool area that require briquettes). All in all, it was just what we wanted in accomodation and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it for family and friends.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early September. The grounds are really beautiful and was fairly close to the beach. The decor could definitely use some updating. The unit had a very musty smell that was quite noticeable when you first come in. My only other complaint would be the upstairs air conditioner which didn't work. I specifically looked for a unit with air. The one in the downstairs bedroom worked just fine.

We really loved going down to the beach for sunsets and had dinner at Roy's at the resort one night, which was awesome!

My family has stayed at the Estates of Turtle Bay in the past. This year we were surprised by the many rules the property security seemed to have, the most surprising being no pool floats. I was disappointed in the lack of friendliness we experienced. We were there in July, high tourist season. The full time residents seemed annoyed to have renters.

The location is convienent for all the sights Oahu has to offer. My family has always enjoyed the ocean at Turtle Bay. The condo is a bit of a trek, at least a 10 minute walk to the bay while carrying beach gear and coolers. The resort did have plenty of parking for the public using the beach.

We loved everything about this rental and the management company. Our flight got cancelled and the airline could not get us there until a day after our original check-in date. The management company was wonderful to deal with and made an exception for us. Upon arrival we were happily surprised to see the unit was more spacious than we anticipated and the whole main floor had been remodeled with nicer appliances than I have at home! The master bedroom is huge and bathrooms were great for the 5 of us. The app the management company uses is great for communicating and finding nearby amenities. The unit looks out at the golf course and the ocean on the horizon; perfect for sitting on the lanai and watching the sunset. There is a pool just steps away and was great for after dinner swims. I work at an airline and am recommending this to everyone who wants to visit the North Shore. You won't be disappointed.

First, we were given the wrong entry code, so we could not get in on time. The place is nice and clean, but the screens could use maintenance. There were so many mosquitoes that our sleep was disturbed all night. There was no cutting board and the knives were dull. The beds are not very comfortable.

The good: the management company gave us great instructions on how to get our property, open the locks and obtain our keys (because we came in after 4 pm), and how to check out (which was a breeze). The location of the condo was great too! Behind us was the golf course and the walk to the beach wasn't far at all. We didn't get to use the pool unfortunately but it was just a few steps away from the condo. The condo was a nice size and the kitchen was updated and came with all the necessities. The fridge was also a good size and the bathrooms were all clean upon arrival.

The bad: it felt like no one had been in the condo for months and no one came in prior to our stay to give the sheets/towels a wash. When we entered the condo there was a musty feel that I felt could've been without if someone had just entered and turned on all the fans (only the living room fan was on). The floor felt like there was a layer of dust as well. Upon arrival the sheets and pillows also felt musty but after we washed them they felt better but we did have to purchase our own pillows because the ones there was just too musty/damped.

My family gathering was a huge success. We rented several condos in the area and made one condo as our home base. Many family members came from the

We had a graduation party on the North Shore so location was a real plus for us.
Unit was clean and housekeeper was just leaving upon our arrival.
AC units in the bedrooms worked out well because of the humid weather. No AC in loft but that goodness for the oscillating fan.
I was kinda disappointed with the unit's appearance.
The couch needs to be cleaned (pillows and cushions are worn out) and the bedding(sheets and pillows) needs to be washed. Looks worn down. The kitchen is nicely upgraded. Dryer didn't dry good. Prolly just needs maintenance and the door to the washer/dryer unit doesn't close properly.
Other than that I would rent this unit again.
