Description
Stargazer's Abbey is located just under 6 miles from the National Park's west entrance (a 10 min drive) & about 2.5 miles from the Visitor Center, restaurants & shops (a 5 min drive). A cozy, quaint home w/ beautiful night sky's! We hope to host you at Stargazer's Abbey soon!
• THE SPACE
Stargazer's Abbey has three bedrooms ( 1 queen bed in each room) One and a half bathrooms, both newly remodeled and modern. The property is located a quick 5 minute drive to the downtown shops and restaurants and a short 10 minute drive to the National Park entrance. The layout works perfectly for a small group of friends, families or for couples who need to unplug and reset. The house sits on a 1/2 acre lot with sweeping views of the Joshua Tree valley and the southern mountains.
• THE OUTDOORS
A propane BBQ grill are provided for your use during your stay to help maximize the indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

• RENTAL AGREEMENT
There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation
• DEPOSIT
We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages!
• ACCESS
Guests will have access to the entire house. The only restricted area is the garage which is Currently being remodeled for future guest use.
• AC and HEAT
The house has central AC and heat to help keep you comfortable all year long.
• FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.
If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.
• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.
