The property was lovely, the home space large and clean. We were there to attend a reunion on another property near by so we really didn’t spend much time exploring NB. There were a few communication challenges because we had a Canadian phone and little wifi access.

Overall, house was good size, open and clean. Some appliances really need to be upgraded and beds absolutely need to be replaced, however, most everything else worked well. Home is in a great location. Location is close to restaurants and shopping. If owner upgrades beds, we will definitely stay again.

Great place - clean and well furnished. Great views of the river. We saw osprey fishing and lots of anglers wading in the water all day, catching small trout - all catch and release of course! Missing a few things that would have made it spectacular - no condiments - no sugar/salt/pepper. No real blankets - only the duvets that were supposed to be used as comforters. Clearly these are not washed or dry cleaned between guests! If these small things were fixed, it would be an ideal getaway

Extremely happy with the property and management. Would definitely stay again. Only one issue when we got there. Went to load dishwasher and flies came out and it stunk with dirty dishes in there and liquid. Had been in there for days. Turned on dishwasher and smelled kitchen for the cycle of the wash.

The home was clean and had all of the essentials! Check in and check out were super easy! New Braunfels Escapes is great to work with! This house is perfect for our family. We love the view and location!

The house was clean and functioning. The river location was perfect! There was a shallow side for sitting in chairs and a deeper side for floating. The kids enjoyed the small rapids nearby and we could walk back and forth from the house all day. The river access just up the road at "Meckels rocky beach" provided the perfect place to get in and float to house and took a little over an hour float. Shuttles and rentals are currently shut down, so having direct river access was key and the float was perfect. I hope to rent it again someday.

This house is beautiful. It was very clean, indoor towels, linens and dishware were provided. Our favorite part was the gorgeous views of the river and private access just a short walk down from the house. The rocky beach makes a perfect hang out spot. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

This spot was amazing! Everything about it was perfect for us. The location and amenities were great. We could not have asked for a better experience. And along with all of the place and the location, the staff was more than I would have ever expected. They made me feel like I was their only customer. Emails and phone calls to follow up and make sure I was happy.

We spent 2 nights during Spring Break at this rental. We had the best time! The home was spacious and had everything we needed. During our stay, we fished, kayaked, and enjoyed a campfire. The home is located on a great section of the river. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought the place was awesome! Great house great location family loved it. Only thing I would say was the last day around 10am some people obviously the owner of the house and another guy “cutting grass with a weed eater” were almost hounding ya to get out. Every 10 min they would get closer and closer to the house kind of forcing us out and we were already packed up just waiting on our new born baby to feed and and fall asleep.. other than that the place was amazing house is gorgeous! Pictures do not do this place justice!

Weekend getaway

The property was exactly as advertised. The proximity to the river couldn’t of been any better. We were right in the middle of everything we needed. I would stay here again and again. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. I am 100% happy with staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Will book for a longer stay next time. Kids will enjoy this place for Spring Break. Can't wait to come back. Very relaxing to sit out on porch and enjoy the views. Restaurants and gasoline stations nearby.

We decided a last minute trip to get away and we found this very beautiful place. The owner has a very beautiful place and its not your normal rental property. The house is extremely nice and away from everyone. The property is big enough that it allows you not to be on top of neighbors. It was a great way to get away and relax. Sitting on the porch at night we would hear and watch the mountain goats in the distance on the mountain. Was a very spacious and clean home! We loved the big kitchen. The wrap around porch was my favorite part, and the great views of the river. Small walking distance, but it is down hill with no stairs so be prepared to have a cooler with wheels to bring down to the water. The water was still low so we didn’t ride the river, we just hung out in the water in front of the house!

Perfect spot for family getaway. Loved it!

Our experience was truly amazing. Beginning with meeting and talking with Management till the moment we left, it was incredible. The scenery was spectacular and so was the home, but what really made the experience amazing was management!!!
