Overall good.
Pros - plenty of towels, kitchen items, firewood for backyard, pups allowed
Cons - no dishwasher, only 1 roll of paper towels, backyard was most dirt so the day that was lightly sprinkling got them all dirty, indoors was a little tight for my liking for 4 adults and 2 dogs, dinning area was all screens and no windows, allowed cold air in, dirt, and not sufficiently bright, also no locks
The picture of the backyard of Reizend Haus really caught our attention while we were browsing the property listings for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed the little light-up bar and fire pit in the backyard at night. The house itself was just right for us as a couple with our daughter visiting for one night. The screened in back porch was perfect for sipping coffee in the morning.
Enjoyed the fact that everything was provided. Fully equipment stocked kitchen towels extra blankets and necessities. Great upgrades but still kept the country charm.
The home was very clean, and as advertised dog friendly which was very important to us. It was only about 4 blooks from the main attraction area. The water was not good at all to drink or make ice, it was not the property owners fault as it was bad most places we went. I would suggest maybe putting in one of those 5 gallon water dispensers so it is more convenient than making coffee and ice with individual bottles of water.
Wonderful little cottage for my mini vacation with my adult daughter. We enjoyed Fredericksburg and the comforts of this home. It was very clean and the beds comfortable. We would stay here again!
It was nice, definitely an older rental but lots of charms. Great location, not too far from Main street. We only had one complaint, which was we were reminded that there were quiet hours, which we apparently violated since we pulled up in the driveway after 10pm. Other than that I definitely recommend, just be prepared for neighbors that live next door year 'round!
We especially liked the back yard where we spent most of our at-home time. They had a great supply of firewood, and anything else we might need. The master had a king, which I thought was a queen by the pictures ... nice surprise!
