This is a gated community just 10 minutes to downtown Truckee with easy access to the ski resorts and nature trails.
Note: Rates and requirements vary by season -- contact Property Manager regarding minimum stay and your interest. We advise you bring basic necessities (food, water, warm clothes) before checking in. Check road conditions and weather forecasts in advance. Ensure your vehicle is in good working order and prepared for winter conditions as 4WD and snow chains are required to access this property during the winter.
The home has three separate living areas. The main living room has a leather sofa and love seat, armchair, and a wood-burning fireplace. The second-story living area features a sleeper sofa, 40” TV, and an office.
A lower-level game room has shuffleboard and foosball. Relax on the sectional and play Xbox or PlayStation on the 55” TV.
KITCHEN & DINING
The bright kitchen is adorned with granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, and custom cabinets with a built-in fridge. Upgraded stainless steel appliances include a gas range, dishwasher, and microwave. Sip morning coffee at the two-seat island.
Make any mealtime a momentous event in the dining room, equipped with a banquet table that can seat 12.
BEDROOMS & BATHS
The master bedroom features a king bed, walk-in closet, private outdoor access, and an en-suite with a walk-in shower. The upstairs second bedroom boasts vaulted ceilings, a queen bed, and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed and an armchair. A second bath has a jetted tub/shower. The fourth bedroom has two twin-over-twin bunk beds. The third bathroom has a jetted tub/shower.
Spend afternoons exploring along the 3-mile hiking around the private grounds or gaze at top-of-the-world panoramic views of Boca, Verdi Peak, and the Carson Range from the deck. Make use of the grill and eight-seat table, and find warmth under an outdoor space heater. Enjoy a game of bocce ball, cornhole or lounge in the hammock.
EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS
Kid-friendly extras include a Pack ‘n’ Play, booster seat, Xbox, PlayStation, and board games. Parking is available for two vehicles in the detached garage, plus four driveway spaces. A washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided. This home has controlled heat and the max setting is 72.
Please note: 4WD and snow chains are required to access this property during the winter. Property Manager cannot assist with stuck vehicles; you’ll need to contact an outside towing vendor. Also, firewood is not provided.
You’ll delight in the remote (yet easily accessible) location, 30 miles from Reno, and within close proximity to Northstar, water sports at surrounding lakes, golf courses, and tennis options.
The gated community has easy access to a grocery store and pizza place in Glenshire. Venture 10 minutes downtown and explore a plethora of restaurants, including Moody’s Bistro.
