Description
AMAZING OCEAN VIEWS!!! This newly remodeled 4 bedroom 4 bath beachfront home has wonderful ocean views and is very close to the community pool. The deck is a composite, so no splinters! The 2nd floor open living room and kitchen area has amazing views of the water, and upgraded kitchen, relaxing furniture and a spacious deck. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with a King size bed, flat screen TV, a full bath, spacious deck with a fabulous gulf view! The second bedroom on this level has a Queen size bed, flat screen TV, and a full bath located just outside the door. Down to the first floor you will find a second living area with comfy seating that includes a sofa sleeper, television, 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, flat screen TV, and a full bath. Lost Colony is the closest complex to the beach in all of Port A. Come, Relax and Enjoy this true island treasure.

Parking- 1 car in the front and 1 small car on the side parallel to the deck. Any other cars especially trucks need to be parked in the overflow parking lot.
• Kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking and entertainment needs. Dishes, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, microwave and large appliances. Note that food products such as spices or seasoning are no tprovided for safety reasons.
• Property is supplied with one set of sheets for all beds. Bath towels are supplied per number of people the house sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.
• A start up supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dish soap will be provided. We also supply a starter set of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, make-up remover wipes and bath soap. After that, the
guest is responsible for any additional needs.
• Suggested items to bring are beach towels, extra paper goods (toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels), extra pillows if you wish to sleep with more than one, spices/seasoning, extra trash bags, sun tan lotion/sun block
and beach gear.
SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay.
CHECK-IN PROCESS:
We are proud to offer contactless check-in and check-out. Port A Escapes will contact you on the day of your arrival, typically in the afternoon once your property is ready, to provide an access code to the property. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide the access code until the property is clean and ready.

The only problem...we didn't stay long enough!
However, the condition of this house is unsafe, outdated, and falling apart in some areas for the price that you have to pay. I would say you're pretty much paying for location, not for a nice house. The bathroom and bedrooms downstairs had electrical issues and we were getting shocked in the shower and when using the bathroom sink. I would bet that we are not the first to complain about this issue. We had to make sure no children went near this bathroom. Also, door knobs kept falling off the doors to the balconies. Most of the showers leaked water all over the bathrooms as well. The showers are the size that you would expect in an RV, not in a house.
Overall, we had a great time, but would never rent this house again. Also, when you sign all of the paperwork to rent you think that you might have the option for a late checkout or early check in if you pay a little extra. However, this option is not applicable during the summer months. I feel like this should be communicated better because I'm assuming most guests are renting in the summer months.
The management company did make it right by us by refunding one of our nights stay due to the issues we encountered, so I would probably rent from their service again. But this house really needs to be reviewed for safety before being rented out to guests again.
