This was the third time I rented Once Upon a Tide. I think that says it all.

Very nice and comfortable rental. Location is close to the beach and all your extra needs.

Our family celebrated Christmas/New Years at Once Upon A Tide. It is a lovely cabin with a great ocean views and golf cart path to access the beach. Accommodations were good...we could all fit around the large table to eat and play games.

The view and the sound of the waves was incredibly therapeutic. Nice Spring Break getaway for our kids as well as the adults. Bring beach toys with you when you come as garage was locked for renters...other than that, everything was perfect and well stocked with everything you would need.

Once upon a time is a beautiful place with a great view, very clean and well kept. We did not have one complaint except the hand held can opener was broke. Lol. We will definitely be back. The owner that decorated this cabin must be an interior decorator , it's beautiful! We loved this place and the view!!

This house was perfect for a short vacation from Houston. The location was ideal and the front porch was deep and well shaded and the perfect place to spend our time when we were not on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked all of our meals so appreciated the well planned kitchen.

Great location and view. Weather didn't cooperate but at least it didn't snow�� Will be back again.

We stayed here for a family getaway for the week between Christmas and New Year's. House was beautiful and great location with easy beach access. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place for our family of 6. It would have slept more, but we were extremely comfortable. We loved the open living and dining area and had plenty of room for the entire family to gather and watch movies on a rainy beach day. The place was extremely clean and we loved the decor of the beach home. If I had a beach house, this is what I would want.

We had a group of 8 adults... really nice place... very tastefully decorated ...well appointed kitchen, had everything we needed...we will be back !

Had a great time with family, we enjoyed the house. However, property could use a little attention; such as new water hose, shower head in master bath, bedding and rugs need washed and cleaned, new broom, new server - we had no WIFI after Wednesday morning - I had office work to do ... just a little TLCOther then that we really enjoyed the house - just thought for the price things could of been nicer. Not equivalent to previous houses rented for same price in past years

We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this property to family and friends.

The location of the house was perfect for proximity to other family members who were staying in the Dunes subdivision and for the wonderful view. The house is spacious and has a great layout with plenty of space. The only negative was that the dishwasher was not working, which was somewhat inconvenient.I would suggest that the owners consider adding additional kitchen items, such a few casserole baking dishes, serving platters/bowls, baking sheets, etc. I would definitely consider returning to this rental and would recommend it. My family enjoyed our stay.<br/>

House was great but wished they had left a few things in the home:lighter and brush for grill. Dish soap, hand soap, tongs, dishwasher soap.

The cabin is in a beautiful location. I love to see the ocean and hear the sounds of it, and you can certainly experience both there.<br/>My experience this week was very good at our location.<br/>Recommendations-<br/>1. A couple of more comfortable chairs for living room.<br/>2. Clean comforters and mattress protectors after each guest leaves.<br/>It was a little unnerving the way the cabin sways continually. I would stay there again, but I wouldn't buy it.

Great location and easy access to the beach. Wifi availability should be a no brainer these days, especially in newer homes like this one. I had to adjust the front door catch in order to keep the door from flinging open due to the winds. Also tightened the bedroom door knob and fixed a cabinet door that was lopsided and would not close properly. These are easy fixes that should be maintained and easily seen so renters do not have to deal with or call the management company for repair. Last day we were there, the tv in master bedroom fell off the shelf and broke (no one was in the room - we heard it fall). It was not attached to the wall or on a stand. Luckily, neither one of my grand kids were under it when it fell. Huge liability for owner to not secure a tv that is up high on a shelf! We told the real estate company when we turned in the key that the tv fell like that and broke, and, hopefully does not affect our deposit. Living area could use more seating as the house is listed to sleep 11 people, but there is only one sofa and two director chairs in living room. We had a great stay, but taking care of these opportunities would make future renters have an even better stay.

We enjoyed our stay at "once Upon a Tide". The best place we have ever rented. Very clean and completely furnished. Some places are lacking in kitchen tools, plates and dishes, pots and pans, but not this place. It had everything and all in good working order. The house was tastefully decorated and added to the seaside experience. the location to the beach was very convienent. The views were great even though the house is on the second row. We are not accoustomed to salletite TV, but the detailed instructions in the guest services book was very helpful. The open concept of the house made it seem larger than the actual square footage indicated on the brochure. We will definitely be back.

Our girls getaway was perfect in this beautiful beach house! The house was very clean, decorated very fun and beachy. The kitchen had everything you need for an easy no issues vacation.<br/>We had a great view and very close to the water.

Great location and very beautiful and clean The only thing is I wish they had better mattresses in all the rooms. They all sag and quite uncomfortable.
