Situated above Canyon Lodge at Mammoth Mountain, this spacious 4BR/4BA custom home is set on a quiet residential street, perfect for a long-term stay. During the winter, walk 200 steps out the door, put on your equipment, and make your way down the slope to Canyon. Ski or board back to the house from Blue Jay. Soak sore muscles in the spa in the glass-enclosed solarium. Your inviting alpine retreat also includes a mountain-view deck and convenient indoor garage space. Best of all the house is large and has many private areas for those working from home and attending or teaching on-line classes.
Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center is a short drive up Lake Mary Road. Après-ski fun awaits just minutes away in The Village (walkable) and downtown Mammoth Lakes. Summer adventures begin with a walk to the nearby stop (0.7 miles) for the free Mammoth Shuttle.
The sun-soaked living room is detailed with a gas fireplace, ample seating, and a 70” TV.
Bright and inviting, the laid-back family game and playroom has a game table, games cabinet, a gas fireplace as well as a wet bar with a microwave.
The solarium provides an ideal spot to curl up with a book or relax in the glass-enclosed spa.
KITCHEN & DINING
The gourmet kitchen offers ample counter space, helpful gadgets, and a full suite of appliances.
Sample appetizers at the kitchen bar for two, then enjoy a home-cooked meal at the dining table for eight (comfortable folding chairs available for more tableside guests).
BED & BATH
Comfort awaits in CRYSTAL LAKE; this primary suite boasts a king bed and an en-suite bath with a tub/shower combination.
Two guest bedrooms, JUNIPER & ASPEN and WOODPECKER, both feature queen beds, while TWIN LAKES holds a twin-over-twin bunk bed.
All three guest baths have a tub/shower combination and are identified with fun local names.
OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES
Admire mountain views paired with a sunset cocktail on the deck, equipped with a gas grill (available in non-snow times).
A large backyard with rustic seating provides an area for morning coffee. The yard turns into a winter wonderland with snow; the perfect spot for snowball fights, building snowmen, and a quiet walk in the snow.
EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS
Complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer, two dryers, snowball-makers, and sleds are provided. Parking is available for one vehicle in the garage and one in front of the garage.
Maximum allowable occupancy is 8 people and 2 cars, enforced, and patrolled 24 hours a day. Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time will result in a guest fine and/or eviction. This unit and the surrounding property have a strict no smoking policy.
All leases require a minimum 31-day term and can be longer.
