Moose Head Lodge is an ultra-comfortable mountain log cabin retreat resting on the bank of the Wenatchee River in the Leavenworth community of Ponderosa Estates.
Nestled on the banks of the Wenatchee River in the Ponderosa Estates community of Leavenworth, Moose Head Lodge (Permit #000460) stands as an ultra-comfortable mountain log cabin retreat. This hand-hewn log home is a testament to quality craftsmanship, enduring design, and a prime riverfront location that earns a perfect 10 out of 10.
Situated in a private park-like oasis, Moose Head Lodge boasts one of the best low-bank riverfront settings in the entire Plain Valley. The property features a stone staircase leading down to a sandy beach, creating a serene environment for relaxation. Enjoy the luxury of a 6-person hot tub perched just above the water's edge, providing a perfect vantage point for soaking in the natural beauty.
This one-of-a-kind riverfront retreat accommodates up to 6 guests, with a main floor bedroom offering a queen log bed and two upstairs bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a set of bunk beds and a twin bed. The main floor bathroom features a tub/shower combination and includes a washer and dryer for guest convenience. An additional bathroom is located in an outbuilding with a private shower.
The inviting main living space encourages gatherings around the gorgeous river rock propane fireplace adorned by its namesake, "The Moosehead." Enjoy entertainment with the smart TV and streaming options, all made possible by the local FREE FIBER WIFI.
Winter Guests: While efforts are made to maintain the driveway during winter, conditions can change rapidly. Winter access can be challenging, and we cannot guarantee the driveway's condition upon your arrival. 4WD/AWD vehicles with traction tires are necessary, and carrying chains is recommended. 2WD vehicles must have chains, with no exceptions.
