Description
A leisurely stroll may take you along the protected cliff walk, through tropical gardens or to the Hawaiian archaeological sites located right on property. Enjoy 3 lighted tennis courts, a large swimming pool, volleyball court, BBQ and picnic area. A short walk North brings you to Kahaluu Beach Park considered one of the best snorkeling areas on the Islands. Here fish eat out of your hands and protected Green turtles surface to eat the moss from the rocks. A short walk South takes you to Keauhou Shopping Center for groceries, shopping, restaurants, and a multiplex theater.
Keauhou Surf & Racquet Club has long been a priority destination for savvy repeat guests to our Island.
Centrally located just 5 miles from Kona, and a few minutes drive South to Kona Country Club for golf, and Keauhou Bay for catamaran rides and Manta Ray watching. A few minutes North to White Sands Beach, the largest in Kona, for swimming & boogie boarding.

Screen doors were separated from the frames which let bug and critters in. The kitchen was upgraded but honestly they wasted their money on it. There was lip stick stain on the some of the glasses. So we washed them all. There was dryer lint all over the bathroom door. There was a previous tenants used food in the refrigerator. There was dried food on the front. The entire property seemed very tired. There are better places to spend your money on the Big Island. Sorry and the rental agency obviously didn't see our side of the story. They offered not credit or refund on the unused days. So it was a total loss for us but we needed to save our vacation.
old. The kitchen cupboards could use a good scrubbing as the handles were grimy. And some things looked like they came the Good Will. There is no TV in the master bd. and no clock. The master bath sink was missing a plug in the sink and in place put a wire mesh holder. The closest BBQ was three steps above the parking lot with no table or place to put food or prep. things. While the unit was surface clean, it really needs a deep cleaning. The unit is on the top floor with 4 flights of stairs. Someone with any physical disability or impairment would have a hard time getting up and down carrying luggage and groceries. The bldg itself if located towards the end of the property and is a walk to the pool. The quality of the unit does not match the price for this unit and the description of this unit in the listing is not accurate. About the only thing we liked was the view.
We read previous reviewers saying that other guests didn't appreciate the kids, we did not have this problem at all. All the other guests talked to our kids (ages 12, 5, & 1) and told us not to worry if they were a bit loud.
I really liked having a lanai outside of the bedroom. We'd leave the screen door open all night & it was so peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.
The fact the condo didn't have air conditioning was no big deal for us. We ran the ceiling fans the whole time and left all the windows open all day. The only thing we noticed was the front bedroom would get a bit warm if the wind wasn't blowing from that direction, but our one son was sleeping in there and he didn't complain.
We were very happy with the condo and would defiantly come back again. The location is perfect. Couldn't be happier!!
