If you want to be close to the water you can't get any closer! Absolutely beautiful. Not much "beach" this year, but the location is stunning, the property is clean and well done, and the property management team was absolutely on top of it. A great stay!

This property is exactly as shown in the pictures! you cannot get any closer to the ocean! It is well maintained, and very quiet - the only problem we had was with the security - we were ticketed for not parking directly between the lines lol - other than that - it was absolutely amazing

Truly paradise. Very comfortable for 2 people. We loved sitting on the Lanai in the morning watching for sea turtles and whales. It’s truly amazing to be able to go swimming, snorkeling right out your door. We loved to watch the paddle boarders. We also enjoyed being able to swim in the pool every afternoon and meet wonderful people. My husband’s favorite place to grill in the world in the “common” area watching the sunset, whales and having conversation with others. We are so appreciative to be able to stay. Mahalo.

Location of this unit wowed us! Once we opened the door to our unit our eyes locked in on the view of the ocean framed by green grass and palm tree. “Aloha, we are in paradise!” There were turtles swimming in the beach just steps from our lanai ! And we have never seen so many whales from our unit! The sandy beach just steps away from our unit comes and goes with the tide, but the water was warm and this was a great place to swim or snorkel or paddle board! The unit is well appointed. The mattress is very soft. The condos have a heated pool, shuffle board and tikis. At sunset there is the blowing of the conch shells. So fun, we are already talking about coming back! I wish I could say something to disuade you from renting this unit cuz I don’t want it to be booked up and not available for our next visit! Lol! Thank you for renting us this great place! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Location and condo. Was updated with all the amenities needed including 2 beach chairs, beach towels, and some snorkel gear. The view was outstanding and I would defiantly rent here again. The only thing I would say is because the AC is in the bedroom window it gets a little warm in the Livingroom in the afternoons when the sun is coming in (not uncomfortably hot...just warm) Overall its a GREAT place to stay!!!!!

We are NOT resort people, we like the freedom to be able to cook for ourselves. Our unit, in my opinion, was the BEST on the property. Literally feet from the beach and a super short walk to the pool. The actual location is close enough to local shops for a walk to coffee every morning, but still far enough away from things that it's very quiet. Parking is plentiful and safe. Gorgeous sunsets!

Beautiful condo!

Absolutely the most amazing vacation ever. The unit was clean and staff very helpful. Only 20 ft to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Cannot wait to come back. Love the resort,the grounds and pool are immaculate and clean. Cimi and her staff were very helpful when I called. Love this place.

Nice Winter Escape

We absolutely love staying at Kuleana. Our favorite place to sit is out on the Lanai listening to the waves 50 feet away. Watching for whales breach and green sea turtles pop there heads out of the water and them come out on the beach in the afternoon to sun themselves. We love swimming and snorkeling in the ocean as well as enjoy swimming in the husband loves grilling Maui Maui ( purchased from Safeway) while watching the sunset and talking with the other grillers. As the sun sets, we enjoyed listening to a few people playing on the conch shells. We appreciated the ambience of the tiki torches being lit each evening. The 1 bedroom condo is neatly furnished and very comfortable. We absolutely love staying in Paradise.

Aloha! Absolutely our favorite place to chase rainbows and immerse in the sun, sand and sunsets. It was truly an island paradise with its lush tropical grounds, secluded beach, lounging turtles, breaching whales and colorful panoramic oceanfront view. Want to stay in and cook, no problem as you have all the kitchen equipment you'll need or adventure out as there are endless places to eat just minutes from the property. And, staying connected when you're not enjoying the pool or ocean is a breeze with cable TV in both the bedroom and open area along with fast reliable internet service.

Kuleana 706 is awesome! The condo is ultra comfortable and is literally steps from the beach! The grounds at Kuleana are immaculately kept. The condo had everything we needed and is perfect for two people. We loved everything about it. The pool was super clean, not crowded and great to swim laps in. We enjoyed having dinner on the lanai at sunset. In fact, the lanai furniture is brand new and quite elegant. Every day was magical ... we enjoyed every minute of it and didn't want to leave. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. This condo is a gem!

First trip to Kuleana - not sure what to expect. We were very happy with Kuleana and this unit. 708 was very clean, nicely decorated, very well situated in the resort. We noticed the screen door did not operate well, and within 15 minutes the manager had maintenance there to fix it. The following morning we called them to say we were having trouble with the operation of the sofa bed. Again, within 1/2 hour someone appeared to explain how the sofa bed works. I was very impressed with everything about this unit.

We absolutely LOVED staying at this small resort! The location of the condo is PERFECT also. It was quiet being at the end condo, easy access to the water and beautiful views of the sunset. We loved grilling out at the resort grilling area and meeting others staying there too. We also enjoyed walking into town to go to the Farmers Market, Boss Frogs rentals and the coffee shop. There were some supplies missing when we arrived, but the management got them to us very quickly:) We look forward to coming back again!

We loved our stay! The condo was absolutely beautiful and helped make our Maui vacation a memorable one. There is a beach within steps of the condo and a snorkeling reef right off the beach. We swam with turtles daily and loved watching them from the lanai. We are a family of 4 and never felt on top of each other. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated.

So we spent 3 days there and another 3 days at the Four Seasons (it was a work conference). I have to say this was way better. Sure the 4 seasons is luxurious but you couldn't hear the soft waves all day and night. And the view was just breath taking. It was very relaxing and easy access to everything you need. And if you have kids the baby beach is only 10 min away. Only 2 negatives: 1- Shower head too low. 2- AC is only in the bedroom and it's loud.

We had a wonderful time during our stay on Maui. The condo lanai opens out to the beach only a few steps away. Very clean, with all the items you could need. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

We had a lovely vacation in Kuleana #706. The location of this unit is most desirable. 20 feet to the the beach and right in front of the "Premium" spot...on the sand under a large tree for shade. Premium because it is coveted by ever for it comfortable spot and shade. We sit there with the two beach chairs {provided by the unit} and watch our 6 year old build sand castle all day. The pool in the resort is heated to an ambient temperature, that I loved doing my laps there. The unit is so well appointed, clean and furnishings were new. I was very pleasantly surprised. On the negative side, the aircondition unit in the bedroom is noisy {does not bother me but my husband complains about it}, the unit faces West- so it gets hot in the afternoon {we have the fan running and shade down all day}they forgot to leave us the parking permit as well as the keys to open up the gates leading to the pool...very inconvenient. And I wished they would supply basic kitchen supply of salt, pepper, and some basic herbs! Also a couple of boogie boards would be nice. Otherwise, it was a lovely vacation.

Great 1st floor connections to the beach.<br/>View was very nice with Molokai and Lanai.<br/>Had to vacate a whole day for plumber to fix major water leak through bathroom, kitchen, hallway. Was fixed when we returned the next day.<br/>Good service once we got there. A bit problematic booking with a person (no longer there,.)<br/>

This condo is really in the perfect location, I almost hate to post this out of fear that if too many people discover this place I'll never find room on the reservation calendar. Turtles every day, a near private beach, small surf for paddle boarding and on good days, surfing. Close to a McDonalds for a cheap breakfast and The Gazebo for an unforgettable breakfast. I have stayed at this community twice and will surely stay here again. You will not be disappointed!!

We have stayed at various condos in west Maui and this one rates at the top of our list. The only things that we wish this unit had was lounge chairs on the Lanai; basic cooking staples would be nice such as salt and pepper; and a few more towels when guest of 4 are staying over longer period of time. You might even consider removing the big dinning room table as it seems to take up a lot of space for the size of the unit. Other that that, it's a very nice unit in a great location.

Enjoyed our stay, the unit isn't the most updated in the complex, the Fridge and stove are dated but functional. Fairly clean and comfortable. Our manager, Kim-Marie was wonderful, she was attentive and caring and we give her very high marks. We'll be back!

This was our 3rd stay at Kuleana #706 and we truly LOVE the location. We love grilling while watching the sunset. We love watching the Whale and Turtle activity. We appreciated the Boogie boards and swam daily. We also enjoyed fantastic restaurants on the island.(The Plantation House, Mama's Fishhouse, The Sea House, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Longhi. On our one cloudy day, we went on the Ocean Vodka tour, Surf and Goat Cheese and the Tedeschi Winery. We went hiking at the Iao Valley State Park. We loved our excursion on the Trilogy to Lanai and whale and spinner dolphin watching and then went snorkeling! <br/>We look forward to returning and hope that 2 improvements can be made. (More comfortable and newer Lanai furniture and drapes that open and close easier) Mahalo!!!

This is a great condo in a wonderful location. The property is gorgeous, and the condo was in perfect condition. Being on the lower level is the best! You walk right out of your patio door to the ocean and the grass and it is steps from the beach access. The BBQ area is a short walk away as is the pool. The sunsets are incredible! Have a glass of wine and watch them every night. Perfect for a family of no more than four (young children can share the pullout), and of course for one couple.

This is our second year staying at the Kuleana. By far this was the best. My family couldn't have been more happy. The location of the condo was ideal. You walk out the door to a beautiful beach and grounds so well maintained. We will be back again for our Xmas this year.

This unit was the perfect spot for my surfer husband and son to enjoy the waves, while I, the mom, relaxed on the deck. The unit was in terrific shape and very clean.

Very clean and everything you basically needed, if it had a washer/dryer it would have been perfect. Only needed a bottle of wine.

Very impressed and happy with this condo. The location was great the view was spectacular and it had everything we needed. Having the ability to walk out of the condo and straight onto the beach was unreal. We had turtles popping up around us every day which was amazing and we loved every minute.

We have stayed at the Kuleana several times, we always stay here because it's the perfect place for us. Beautiful beach, view, and location. This is our first time in unit 706. It is a very comfortable room. We got to meet Cimi while we were there! We would definitely stay here again!

We were overjoyed with the location of this property. We could sit outside our door and watch the sunsets, enjoy a coctail and could walk just a few steps to the private beach. It was pure paradise. We enjoyed seeing the turtles swimming around the area and sometimes even stopping on the beach to say hello. Really loved it here!

We stayed at 17 high end vacation rental spots in Maui over an 8 month period . This spot ranks at number 1 . Although small in square footage , the proximity to the ocean (literally 2 steps ) is worth a million dollars . This beach is pristine in color with all white sand as well as super private . I could literally stare at it all day and be super happy ! Sunset is right outside your door . The staff at epic are amazing and super helpful . This place will be my first stop when I return to Maui. L

We had a great homebase for our trip to Maui by renting this condo. Everything was exactly as described. Beach sunsets (from the back porch) are fantastic. The location was nice- no too touristy and easy to get around.

Relaxing and rejuvenating week late Feb. Whales galore, perfect weather. The unit is as advertised, but a little cramped for two nearing the end of the week (and an earlier week on the Big worries with so much to do outside. Kitchen a bit sparse, but ok for breakfast and snacks. Lighting poor if trying to read. Complex is well maintained, many return visitors and all are friendly and helpful with suggestions.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kuleana 706. The location was great & the condo in excellent condition. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from sun up 'til sun down, and appreciated having beach chairs, boogie boards & beach towels. Because we cooked every day, I would like to suggest that you provide pot holders for taking hot items out of the oven and a few more dish towels. We also could have used some Windex (or similar cleaning agent) for cleaning the glass table and counter tops as the cooking/eating surfaces become dirty fairly quickly. We also would have liked something (like a dish pan??) to rinse the sand off of our feet before entering the condo from the beach. Overall, I would recommend this condo/property. We had great communication with quick response time from the condo owner, and the onsite manager at the condo was very helpful. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Kuleana 706. The view was amazing. The only downside was the lack of places to hang towels in the bathroom. Otherwise, it's a beautiful and nicely equipped condo.

My husband and I were in the condo for a week. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Checkin was easy with the coded entry, parking was convenient and the grounds were very nice. Pool, tennis, grills, etc. Being on the ground floor was exceptional, sitting in our beach chairs on the beach or on the grass outside our lania. We swam and surfed right out our door, saw whales and turtles. The location was also convenient to Lahaina without being in the busy fray. Couldn't have been better. Perfect for two!

We had a fantastic stay at Kuleana 706! The ocean is literally steps away and both our boys (10 and 12) loved the ocean access. There were boogie boards and beach chairs provided at the unit. The only downside was that there were only 2 beach towels in the unit and no air conditioning in the main room. The bedroom has a window unit which keeps the bedroom nice and cool. We saw lots of sea turtles in the ocean and one even crawled out right before us to sun itself on the shore. The beach is very quiet and almost felt like a private beach! There is a small pool onsite, but we never used it since the ocean was so close! We did not see a jacuzzi on the property. It would have been nice to have a map of the whole Kuleana property so we knew where everything was located.
