Our family of four stayed here for 2 weeks. Our sons used the pull out sofa bed and had no issues. Its a great unit for a couple or a family of four.

We loved the location. It was close to Kona and a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants, while still being far enough away from any noise. Stepping out for a quick drink during happy hour or for ice cream after supper was easy. Walk across the street and through a parking lot and you're right in the heart of Kona.

In the mornings, you could walk to Safeway which is about a 5 min walk or to Starbucks (2 mins).
We found the condo complex was quiet, clean and welcoming. The pool was a perfect getaway to hang out and meet the neighbors.

The property management group was fantastic to deal with before, during and after our stay. We'll be using one of their properties on our next visit to the big island.
Exceptionally clean apartment that is well stocked. We appreciated the new kitchen ware, as well as nice amenities such as coolers, beach blankets and beach chairs that we were able to take the beach with us. The location is very convenient to downtown Kona. The restaurant, shops and grocery store are all within walking distance. A warning for future guests: the designated parking place is no where near the apartment. This wasn't a big deal for us as we are very active, but folks with limited mobility may find this a challenge. The two small complaints that I have are 1) there instructions for check in were not completely clear. It took as a lot of hunting to find the correct apartment. We wondered around the property for almost 40 minutes before a resident was able to help us. A map indicating the location on the property would be helpful for future guests. 2) The property management company makes it very clear that they will charge $100 for a lockout if you lock yourself out of the apartment. However, they only provide a key for the inside door, and not the screen door, which has door knob lock that can be easily triggered. That lock is on a separate key that is not provided. While we took care not to lock ourselves out, this seems like a recipe for disaster, or at least a lot of lockout incidences. An easy solution it to either change the locks to match, or provide a key for the screen door! Overall, a great experience and I would stay there again on my next trip.
It had everything we needed for our visit to Hawaii.
We spent a week in the unit and discovered that it was well-supplied with appliances, all that is needed for living, and even snorkel equipment and beach chairs.
The condo was spacious, clean, and was in a great location. They provided beach chairs, coolers, towels, everything you need for a comfortable stay.
You had your own parking spot. Close to restaurants , coffee, Walmart, ocean. Good communication with office before and during stay. Comfortable. ❤️
Perfect location, easy parking and all the extras
Fantastic location. Beach chairs and boogie boards were broken. Coolers were dirty. Not as clean as I would expect. Sheets on bed were damp. Sheet on pullout bed was dirty. Would have liked another set of sheets at least. Air conditioner and fans were great. Everything was in working order so never had to call management which was really nice.
Knutson & Associates gave clear information prior to my check-in and responded promptly to my requests. My only problem is the inability to communicate issues without using my phone unless I pay roaming charges as I use only Wi-Fi when travelling to USA.
Great
We enjoyed our 9-day stay at the large and centrally located condo in Kona. A short drive from the airport (and Costco that had gas for ~$.75 less per gallon), the condo has a lovely portico, large living room with open kitchen, and very comfortable bedroom and bed, as well as a bathroom with plenty of space for 2 to store toiletries. Kona was a short walk from the condo has numerous restaurants, shops and beach. The owners provided beach chairs, beach towels and a small cooler which we used daily on our excursions to various beach locations (Kona, Mauna Kea lovely white sand beach, Punalu'u black sand beach, Kaloko-Honokohau beach with turtles just feet away in shallow water, and Kahalu’u beach for amazing snorkeling). We loved visiting Volcano National Park, several waterfalls, breakfast at Hawaiian Style Cafe in Waimea, night snorkel excursion with the Manta Rays (highlight of our trip!), Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Refuge Park and bake shop is a must stop, visit to Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation (don't miss out on the nature walk in the Cloud Forest or petting Margie, the cat), Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory tour, Mona Loa (don’t miss the sunset views from a mountain across from the visitors center or more stars than I have ever seen at night). We were also able to “hitch a ride” to the top for stunning views of the island. After a busy day of visiting the sites around the island, we really enjoyed time by the pool a couple of evenings where we could use the grill and were welcomed by neighbors in the community who graciously gave us recommendations on places to go in Kona (our favorite was Don the Beachcomber Happy Hour with a gorgeous view and Poke Nachos) and the rest of the island. We also looked forward to the welcome of the wonderful neighborhood cat, Mauser, who with a little encouragement would snuggle up against my stretched-out legs on the lounge chair. Gorgeous scenery everywhere! Truly a trip of a lifetime.
This location was great! It’s near Ali’i drive where there a ton of great spots to stop at and eat. Aside from that the spot was clean and offered many beach items you may need. Beaches weren’t too far of a drive either
Easy arrival and check-in (follow the instructions in the app carefully for parking and unit location). The condo was spacious, clean, well equipped, and located in Downtown Kona. Perfect spot to explore the Island and visit Kona.
Great
My husband, little one and I needed something convenient and close to the Pier (start/finish) due to the little one. This was perfect. I could easily go in and out and check in on my family, and on race day they could see me at the start, transitions, run course, and the epic finish. It was super close without the hecticness of one of the host hotels, and had a washer/dryer and full kitchen which is really important race week, and when traveling with a little one. My family stayed at a resort a few miles away, and came in just for the race day and were thankfully able to get a visitor parking spot very early AM. Knutson was regularly in touch through the process , and the unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Mahalo!
Our first experience was great. Very clean, great location, central to everything. Downtown Kona, restaurants, Starbucks, shops, and the ocean.
Very convenient and great amenities, a great spacious place for a couple
