You'll love this 2BR, 2BA condo in Sugar Mountain!  An ideal vacation home year-round. The condo is part of the famous Sugar Top Resort, this vacation rental offers gorgeous, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a direct view of the Sugar Mountain Ski slopes from the balcony and bedrooms. After enjoying so much activity as the area offers, you can take a break in the indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, whirlpool, steam room or fitness centre located within Sugar Top.  Whether you enjoy swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, having a nice workout or getting a good sweat in the sauna, you will not be disappointed!  Beyond these there are vending machines, a small library and a gorgeous fireplace in the lobby area as well.

Summer is here and Sugar Mountain is ready for it! This is quite a time of year to enjoy the calm and quiet beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Needless to mention the soft temperatures that will make you truly enjoy summer and forget “hot and humid”. In June start a number of family oriented activities. Every Thursday evening there´s an open air concert in Banner Elk´s park.  Lees-McRae College offers a summer program of musicals and theatre shows for the whole family. On top of these there are a number of community events like art festivals, the famous Highland Games, and many more. Nature is full of colours and wildlife that will make you enjoy even more outdoor activities in our hiking trails, fishing in our lakes, canoeing and many other summer treats. You´ll enjoy a true High Country experience.

There are a myriad year-round activities for all ages, additional to nature walks you can do kayaking, rafting, alpine coaster, zip lines, golf, tennis, hiking and bike trails, only minutes away from the condo. Shopping and dining areas are also close by, albeit the condo is fully equipped for nice home-cooked meals.  Take a look at Sugar Top resort´s web page where you can find loads of information, including seasonal events. There won´t be a moment to spare with so many activities from which to choose. Just make sure you drive carefully to and from the resort as it won´t be unusual to find deer and other wildlife crossing the road.

If you are already planning for the ski season, prior to booking you can check the slopes by connecting to the Sugar Mountain ski resort webcam. On weekends a shuttle is available at no cost to get you to and from this ski resort in 6-8 minutes. Alternatively, if you are ready for the unusual, there´s a half mile trail to ski from Sugar Top to the top of the ski lifts, from top to top! You can also choose to ski at Beech Mountain ski resort, which is only a short drive away or simply do snow tubing nearby. 

The condo is equipped with a king size bed in the master bedroom and twin size beds in the second bedroom. We´ll be glad to convert them to a king size bed upon request. There´s a TV set in the living room and both bedrooms. The three are Roku TVs in which you can view your streaming channels as well as cable TV programs. You´ll enjoy the comfort and quality of our reclining sofas! The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience with range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and utensils. Parking: The top parking is limited to owners. The guest parking lots are only at a minute or two walking distance, nevertheless, there is a free shuttle bus service 24x7 that will bring you back and forth to your car.
