This cozy log cabin is your perfect North Lake Tahoe getaway in the beautiful neighborhood of Agate Bay! Close to many ski resort and blocks from the beach! A lovely town to visit anytime of year.
This charming two-level log cabin in Carnelian Bay is a great place to stay while you enjoy North Lake Tahoe! No matter which time of year you visit, there are many nearby activities to enjoy!
After a day of activities, relax in the warm living room or family room with cable TV for your entertainment pleasure, or play a board game, mah joong or start a puzzle. Feeling like cooking a home cooked meal? The kitchen is fully stocked with essential cookware and dishware.
All 4 bedrooms are on the upper level, about 12 steps up. In the master bedroom is a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and twin bed. In the third bedroom are two sets of bunk beds. The smaller fourth bedroom has one set of bunk beds. The cabin can sleep up to 8 people.
Parking for 4 cars in driveway.
The neighborhood of Agate Bay is a quiet neighborhood great for walking, hiking and biking! Only a few blocks from the National Forest Land, where you will find trails that lead to the Tahoe Rim Trail and beyond!
The nearest beach is at the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area or Kings Beach.
The property is a quarter mile to Patton Beach in Carnelian Bay. Take in a hike through the forest to Brockway Summit for breathtaking panoramic views of the lake.
Visiting during the winter? The choices are endless! The cabin is in close proximity to a few of the best ski resorts in the west! The closets is famed Northstar Ski Resort. Also close by is Squaw, Homewood, Alpine Meadows, Mt. Rose, and Diamond Peak. Enjoying skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow mobiles!
A 20 minute drive south along the lake leads you to Tahoe City. The town is full of shops, galleries, museums and delicious restaurants.
Closets highways are 28 and 267. Visiting in the winter? You have many choices of top resorts for winter activities! Northstar is a 15 minute drive. Homewood is 20 minutes away. Diamond Peak (at Incline) also 20 minutes. Squaw Resort is 23 minutes away. Alpine Meadows , 24 minutes from cabin.
