Please feel free to email me before, during and after your stay. We’ll try to provide some guidance to help you maximize your stay. The good news is that you don’t need to travel very far. Rolling Meadows and local communities have world-class shopping, culinary experiences, trails, arenas, sports venues spas and activities for all ages.We want to make sure that you maximize every minute of your stay. Please read the information below at your convenience:
STEP 1: GETTING IN: You don’t need to worry about a key. The front-door code is the last 4 digits of the phone number under which you registered.
STEP 2 GET ONLINE: The network name and password are on the router in the kitchen also:

STEP 3 SELECT YOUR ROOM: Sheets and towels are provided. Washer and drier on site allows you to always have a clean and dry set available.

Simple Considerations when enjoying the house:
PARKING: Parking is available in the off street driveway. 2-3 cars will easily fit. The garage may be requested in the winter months and will accommodate 2 vehicles. Accommodations shorter than 7 days, driveway parking only. Garage upon request for stays in excess of 8 days.
TRASH: The trash receptacle and recycling bin are located on the driveway adjacent to the house. Do not leave the trash outside unless you want to deal with a racoon or two. We do not recommend it.
GAS GRILL: We have a gas grill and cooking station outside for you to use at your convenience. The grill has a propane tank. Please make sure that you turn the gas grill burners and propane tank off when finished. Grill accessories are available within or on the grill cart.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE & CUSHIONS: The cushions are in a container outside. Please feel free to use them if you want to use the outside furniture. Please return them into the bin when done. If the cushions got wet due to rain. Please leave them outside the bin and they will be dried by the cleaning crew.
FIREPLACE: Firewood is available at the house. Please make sure that you follow the simple some basic instructions if you use the fireplace in the house.
1. OPEN THE FLUME BEFORE STARTING THE FIRE. LABELS ARE INCLUDED TO HELP YOU KNOW WHEN THE FLUME IS OPEN. THE LEVER SHOULD BE PULLED RIGHT UNTIL IT CLICKS.
2. USE SMALL WOOD AND A FIRE STARTER TO START. ADD LARGER PIECES AS THE FIRE BURNS.
3. KEEP THE WIRE SCREEN CLOSED AND THE EXTERIOR SCREEN IN FRONT OF THE FIRE. IT WILL KEEP THE SPARKS FROM HITTING THE FLOOR. THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER IS NEXT TO THE STOVE IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY.
4. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO SLEEP OR LEAVE THE HOUSE UNTIL THE FIRE IS OUT
AIR CONDITIONER AND HEATER: We have central air and heat. Please feel free to change the temperature for comfort. We only ask that you adjust the thermostat from HOLD when you are not in the house. The thermostat has an automated sensor that runs off the furnace/AC when the home is vacant.IMPORTANT: If any problems arise during your stay that would make your stay more comfortable. Please contact Red Awning . We’ll try to figure out a solution before you leave.
CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
Kitchen:
Upon departing our home at the end of your visit, please make sure to dispose of any trash that might be smelly, place all the dishes in the sink or dishwasher. Do not start the dishwasher, the cleaning crew will take care of it.
Bedrooms & Family Room:
Please leave all beds that were used unmade, and make sure the fireplace doors are closed, turn lights off throughout the house, make sure that all the doors are locked. The front door is locked by pushing lock key at the bottom of the circular lock. You may need to pull the door towards you to ensure the deadbolt cylinder travels into the door frame and press the lock button several times.

All we ask is that you please respect our property so that we can deliver the same quality experience for every guest that comes through our doors and respect the privacy of our neighbors by keeping outside noise low after 10pm. With everyone’s help, we can accomplish this goal!We hope that you have an amazing and memorable experience at the house.
MANDATORY RENTAL PROPERTY ADDENDUM (Local Ordinance)
Landlord and Tenant agree as follows:
The tenant, any member of the tenant's household, any guest or any other person associated with thetenant on or near the lease premises:
a. Shall not engage in criminal activity, including drug related criminal activity, on or near the lease premises. "Drug related criminal activity" means the illegal manufacture, sale, distribution, use orpossession of any illegal or controlled substances as defined in 21 USE 802;
b. Shall not engage in any act intended to facilitate criminal activity;
c. Shall not maintain a "nuisance" on the premises as defined in Title 8, Chapter 1 of this code.
Any activity prohibited by this agreement shall constitute a substantial violation of the lease, material, noncompliance with the lease and grounds for termination of tenancy and eviction (Ord.)
