Perfect beachfront house! Quiet beach with less traffic and beach goers than Crystal beach. We found plenty of treasures including sharks teeth, sea glass and intact seashells. Loved the fenced in yard for our fur babies. Although a two bedroom, the living area and kitchen are spacious and the second bedroom is huge. Kitchen has ample cookware. Camelot is our new favorite.

We had a wonderful time at Camelot. The fenced yard was a big plus for our fur babies. We enjoyed being beach front and the beautiful view. The furniture was outdated but comfortable. Everything was nice and functioned well. The layout of the home was enjoyable for our two families. We really had a great time and would definitively stay again.

Good rental

We had an incredible time staying at the Camelot on the Bolivar Peninsula. The house was in the perfect location, just steps to the water. What a view from every window in the house! We could see the ocean from the back balcony and the ships and barges on the intercoastal waterway from the front balcony. The beach was peaceful. We felt safe on the beach at all times. We rented golf carts and explored the peninsula. We built a fire at night on the beach. We found so many great shells, not just ordinary shells, the kind you search to find the perfect one, just like the Camelot. While it wasn't perfect, it was perfect for us. It was our favorite place to stay so far. We were able to celebrate our 30 year wedding anniversary and still remain Covid responsible. We could just walk back and forth from our house to the beach and not see anyone if we didn't want to. With no close neighbors, I could play my guitar and sing on the balcony without worrying if I was bothering anyone. The place was affordable and everything we could want in a beach house. The only complaint I would have is that the internet and cable wasn't very good. But that ended up being a blessing to escape for a while. I could still get internet on my phone in case I needed it. Cobb Real Estate was great to work with. We hope to stay at here again next year. I highly recommend the Camelot.

I have stayed at this property before and it met my expectations. This year, it did not. I realize that the owners nor the real estate people have no control over the hurricanes, but the main reason I rented this property is for the yard. I paid $100 extra to bring my dog. About 2 days before my arrival, I was told that the fence was down and could not be repaired. We went anyway. It was a lot of work walking my dog each time they needed to go outside. The stairs are brutal! Also, there is a rotted place in the floor by the locking door. Also the underpinning has plywood and insulation missing from a year and a half ago. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed it! Just wish the yard was mowed grass. But we still loved being at the beach. We will be back.

My family and I enjoyed the house a lot. Great location peace and quiet.

My husband and I have rented Camelot for two weeks in May for the last six years now. We love relaxing on the wraparound deck and watching all the action. We are already looking forward to 2020.

The Property description was was clean and very private. We would recommend this home to friends & family. We had the perfect vacation at this home. Cobb real estate was friendly & easy to work with!

This house is an excellent & affordable front row beach destination. It is relatively isolated, very few houses around. Has what ever you need in the kitchen, not too many personal 'chatchkis' sitting around so it is easy to keep clean and clean up when you leave. Close enough to The Big Store and other restauraunts to not have to bring a lot from home....very clean beach with direct access from gated yard. Did not have any seaweed this time!!!! You can be the king of this castle and not go broke! I have rented this house 2 times, once for a teacher/girls weekend and once for a family week......we begged to stay just one more night!

Just losing both parents in 5 days we were looking for privacy and quiet. This house has that. It was nice, we have stayed in alot of rentals this one was the least personal one. But having the beach right at the gate and not having anyone around ( except for lawncare ppl at 8) was nice.

We have rented Camelot 3 times, and it is the perfect beach house for us and our dogs. The wrap around deck, fenced yard and free WIFI, plus being beach front, are what brings us back. We always wish we could stay longer!

Lovely private place to get away from city living. I have rented this house 3 x only problem is yard gate from road is hard to open & close.

We arrived with the back doir broke, repoted it and never fixed. Other than that the house is in good shape and was big enough for 3 children and 4 adults. We had a Great time just like last time. The beach is awsome with great fishing. Cobb is very easy to work with, we will be back again!

We had a great time. Great area. Kitchen as everything you could possible need.

We found this beach home to be very nice for the money. You can tell the people that own it actually care about the people who stay there. Utensils, dishes, pots and pans, etc... were all there. TV's in every room. Internet worked well, had to unplug it and plug it back in a couple times to re-boot it, but no big deal. Very foggy in the month of December at this beach, but that is more of an FYI than anything to do with the house. Overall my wife and I were very happy and would stay here again. The only thing you need to remember is to bring your own outdoor grill. The one there is like you would see at a state park.

Great stay, house needs some maintenance, when it stormed the back sliding door leaked on the floor inside the house. Termites were in the laundry room, one of the outlets on the back deck was fried at one time and the ceiling inside the living room has water damage..

I loved the huge yard and the privacy from the house not being crammed next to the neighbors house like in so many other neighborhoods. But the gate was broken so it could not be closed and the yard needed to be mowed. As well the lawn was full of stickers and the poor dog found them all. Love the layout of the house but the furniture was all uncomfortable and dirty looking. (Beds, couches and chairs all very uncomfortable.) We were lucky that it was a rainy week and the temperature outside was comfortable because the AC inside had trouble cooling off the house. And the appliances need to be updated. Mainly the dishwasher and fridge. You had to push hard to make sure the dishwasher was closed or the door would fall open. With a little TLC this could be a fantastic place.

The cabin was very nice and secluded. We took our 14 month old English Mastiff puppy for her first trip to the beach. We all had a blast. I am giving the house 4 stars only because of the A/C. It did struggle keeping the cabin cool every evening. Other than that our stay was great. Would also like to say thank you to Cobb for arranging to meet us late to pick up the keys.

Camelot was perfect for our family. Secluded, quiet with great beach access. We were pleased with everything except the fact that grass stickers were HORRIBLE. We rented this property as it had a fenced in yard and allowed pets. Our Labradoodle suffered with stickers all week! Regular applciation of weed and feed would have helped with this issue. That is why we gave 3 stars for the maintenance aspect of the property's general condition. There also needs to be a dust pan in the house. Again, we loved everything else about the house. It was perfect for my family. My friends all have pets they travel with, so I would not recommend this property to them due to the grass stickers. Mosquitos were horrible, but that is not something that affects our happiness with the house.

Very nice house. Cobb was very attentive to issues and prompt.

We were a little nervous about this house, with some of the furnishings being outdated and not the prettiest (My first thought was Golden Girls called - they want their couch back lol). However, I will say that the sofas and chairs in the living room, and the beds were very sturdy and super comfortable. I get it now. They don't make things like they used to. We ended up having the best time and may never go to Galveston for our yearly rental again. The walk down to the beach was awesome, not having to go around or down the street. I don't have a single complaint about the house, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. It would be nice to have a covered area on the deck, but you can make it work by moving around to let the house block the sun at different times of day. <br/>Cobb Real Estate was very accommodating. After renting through a large rental agency in Galveston many times, and also renting directly from owners via VRBO, I am impressed with Cobb. They worked with us on a last-minute, same-day reservation, which is not easy. They provided plenty of towels, which makes a huge difference when you've got little kids in and out of the beach and then bath all day. We will definitely be back to Cobb and probably Camelot too!
