Very beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed.<br/>Close to town for shopping and dinners, but far enough away to relax and look at the stars.

We absolutely loved our romantic stay. The cabin is comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing visit. The property is just beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed being in nature with the hummingbirds, fox, deer, horses and cattle. Quiet, relaxing, comfortable and serene, a perfect retreat.

Celebrated our 34th anniversary here. The check in process was very quick and easy. Arrived at the cabin and met one of the owners. She was super friendly and helpful the entire time. Everything in the cabin was clean, neat and orderly. There was a book with instructions for everything in the cabin and what the check out process was. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was great. The owner has added her special touches that she thinks you might need or enjoy. Was just a great place for my grand daughter and I to stay and have our girl getaway.

The view from our front porches (2) was wonderful. Deer walked through morning and evening, and on the last night a fawn was born on the property. It is only about 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Owners are onsite, helpful and friendly, but not intrusive.

Recently had a wonderful stay at the Cabins on Knopp School Rd - the Chula Vista Cabin. Booked through Fredericksburg Escapes, and highly recommend using them as your rental agent. We arrived approx 5:30pm on a Sunday evening, but had called Fredericksburg Escapes to advise we were arriving after hours. No problem, they placed the property key in a lockbox outside their office and texted me exact directions. The cabin and the property it is located on are beautiful! Plenty of wildlife in the area, including deer, especially at night. Word of caution...the deer congregate on the roads at night and are prone to jump in front of moving cars, so use caution and your horn! The cabin itself is lovely, cozy, well furnished, and spotless. It was very apparent the owners take pride in their property. Instructions for operating the fireplace, hot tub, and Wi-Fi were well documented. A welcome note next to the coffee pot, snacks, and water bottles in the refrigerator were a nice touch. The cabin is laid out nicely and is a perfect size for two people. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, sipping coffee, and watching the deer play. Very quiet and peaceful in the evening. We did have one morning where the Wi-Fi was not working. Per the instruction sheet, we contacted the owner who lives on the property. She asked permission to come over and promptly reset the Wi-Fi device. She also shared with us some of the favorite restaurants and sights of the locals. Overall a wonderful five day stay and I would certainly rent the property again. Highly recommended! <br/>Ps - not related to the Cabin, but if you are planning to visit and/or hike Enchanted Rock, you have to make a reservation through the park's website. I recommend making your reservation well in advance of your stay as it books up quickly!

We had an awesome trip. The cabin was very clean and and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed out stay at Boot's Cabin. The cabin is exactly as described, craftsmanship so impressive. We loved the setting and wildlife. Be aware that this cabin has no cooktop/stove, but does have a grill. We would definitely return.

This was a return trip to this cabin for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed our stay the first time and had to come back again. She loved when we pulled in seeing the deer on the property and the cows and horses from the patio. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We relaxed in the jacuzzi after the day out in town and visiting wineries. The cabin was 10 minutes from town. We enjoyed our stay and it met all of our expectations.

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was peaceful & refreshing. Wished we could've stayed longer. We will return very soon.

The cabin, property, and hot tub were all great...but the extra mile that the host went made it even better. Everything was extremely clean, and the host tried to think of everything you might need...coffee beans & grinder, hair dryer, good toilet paper, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Great get away for me and my wife. It's just the right distance outside of town. Sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the hill country view was our favorite.

We loved staying in the cabin (Chula Vista). It was close to town yet off the beaten path. The wildlife was the best part, with the hot tub a close second. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We would stay again! The folks at Fredericksburg Escapes were friendly and wonderful.

We went to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and everything was just perfect! This was a very comfy and cozy cabin with everything you need. I would maybe add a step to get into the tub/shower but other than that it was awesome! 10 minutes from Main street and 10-20 minutes from the wineries!

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet get away with your partner this is the place! The cabin is so cute and rustic!! They had everything we needed! Check in was easy. The drive to Main Street is not far. We enjoyed our stay so much and we are already planning our next trip but this time for a few more days!

The cabin was beautiful and quaint with wonderful views of galloping horses just off the porch. Decor was on point, complimenting the rustic, antique timber walls (btw, we want that couch lol!). Very clean and organized along with snacks, drinks, and coffee to help get your day started. The outdoor hot tub was a nice added feature which helped to unwind while enjoying a luscious cabernet and star gazing. The ONLY thing we had an issue with was the firmness of the mattress, as it was very firm for our liking. However, we would return just to watch the horses play in the morning while sipping coffee and rocking on the porch. Thank you.

Beautiful cabin and property! It was only minutes from the middle of Fredericksburg. We will definitely stay there again.
