THE POOL WILL BE CLOSED FROM DECEMBER 12TH -22ND FOR REPAIRS. ONCE THE POOL REOPENS ON THE 22ND IT WILL NOT BE HEATED AGAIN UNTIL JANUARY 19TH!!!
ALL UNITS ARE LOCATED ON THE 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR
Per HOA: Before traveling to Port Aransas/Beachhead Condos, please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below. Properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience:
Beachhead Condos allows parking for 2 vehicles maximum. Golf carts do count as vehicles. Violators will be towed by the HOA
This unit is located on the 2nd floor.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo offers wonderful ocean views. The door of this condo opens into the living room / dining area. There is a full kitchen complete with everything you will need. The first bedroom has a King size bed and the second bedroom 2 full size. Both bedrooms have there own full bath. The sunrise is amazing and the ocean breeze is just perfect from the deck of this condo. The unit is not pet friendly and smoking is permitted outside only. There are community BBQ grills on the property and picnic tables nearby. The kids will also love the playground and the community pool. Nestled in the golden dunes of Mustang Island, Beachhead condos all have awesome gulf views. The complex amenities include a heated swimming pool, a playground, and a private boardwalk to the beach just steps from any of the units. All units have private balconies to enjoy gulf views and breezes. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Port A Escapes will contact you on the day of your arrival, typically in the afternoon once your property is ready, to provide an access code to the property. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide the access code until the property is clean and ready.

That said, you do get what you paid for. The negatives of this condo is the smell- a combo of mildew and mothballs, which is very unpleasant. Also, the entire condo, including both bathrooms and kitchen, is carpeted. The carpet is quite run-down and stained. Makes it hard to fill like it’s really very clean.
There are no outlets in the bathrooms and there is no iron/ironing board (cause sometimes you do want to wear something other than a bathing suit;). Also, the fridge does not have an ice maker. Ice cube trays are provided but they were empty when we got there so I’d suggest you buy a bag of ice on your way in.
None of the above are necessarily deal breakers, especially for the price range of this condo, the view and it’s location.
