Asher House - a Galveston Property
Asher House is a family-owned beach home and lovingly cared for by its local owners. It is positioned on an oversized corner lot, and the entire property is surrounded by a white picket fence. A large front porch welcomes you to this beautiful Galveston beach house. Enter the foyer and into the dining room, complete with gorgeous chandelier and grand farmhouse table. Plenty of seating for the whole family! Adjacent to the dining room, through the antiqued mirrored French doors, is a bright and beautiful sunroom, which also doubles as the downstairs bedroom. This sunroom sleeps two comfortably on the twin trundle daybed. The fully stocked and updated kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, overlooks the large outdoor deck, where you can enjoy your morning coffee! "Beachy farmhouse" is the decor of the living room, which includes a sleeper sofa for two more downstairs guests. Up the beautiful wood-floored staircase to a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo and full vanity. A nearby bunk room is a great kids' room that sleeps six - a full/full bunk and twin/twin bunk! Next door is a lovely queen bedroom with plenty of natural sunlight and beautiful night views of Pleasure Pier! The roomy master bedroom sleeps two - plenty of room for a pack and play or air mattress for children/additional guests. The master also has an amazing custom walk-in closet and a pampering en suite with separate tub and shower and two vanities.
All bedrooms in Asher House have their own smart TVs.
The backyard has a large deck with firepit for evening s'mores, as well as an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off sandy kids and toys after a long day at the beach! Palm trees and fruit trees abound in the front and back yard! The back door takes you straight into the laundry room, where you will find a full size washer and dryer - a MUST for any beach vacation!
So much is within walking distance from this home - you will rarely have to get back in your car! Restaurants, bars, shopping, and the beach are all a stone's throw away! Only two blocks to the famous Seawall! Walk to the Historic Pleasure Pier! Enjoy dinner and drinks at the Island-famous "The Spot". Hop in the car or rent a golf cart or even a bike for a short two mile trip to The Strand!

- No direct beach access - 2 block walk
