Perfect little escape. We have been enjoying this little place for years. It's just far enough away from Fredericksburg that we can enjoy it by day and then relax by night in the hot tub out back. There is a full kitchen available to cook or warm things up. We've never been disappointed with our weekend getaway.Just fyi Mondays quite a few of the stores are closed.

We have stayed at several vacation rentals in the area. This is by far our favorite one! The location is perfect. Close to town, but still plenty of privacy and nature. We will definitely be back.

This was a last minute "get out of town" for my husband and myself. Place was clean, quiet & easy enough to find. Perfect for just the 2 of us. Our only recommendation would be the bed...not super comfortable. Time to replace the mattress for sure.

This was the most amazing escape. Completely private and quiet we were able to get the most amazing view of the New Years fireworks in downtown from our back patio. Would come back here anyway.

We have been coming to Appian Waycottages (Tuscan, Provence and Oliva) for 10+ years. They have the perfect layout. This is our go to 2-3 times a year. The views are spectacular with lots of wildlife. We just love it!

Good. The dvd remote needed batteries and it was difficult to watch a movie.

This cabin was just a couple minutes outside of town and was in a nice quiet area. It had a beautiful view from the back porch. We saw over 20 deer while staying here! The privacy and hot tub added to the relaxation of the cabin.

This cabin was amazing with a great view. When we arrived the hot tub was broken apparently right before got there. I called to ask about it and was informed of the need for repairs. That was one of the main reasons we booked it. The manager saved the day and and gave us another cabin maybe 800yds away from this one that seemed to be brand new, according to the guest book we were the second people to stay there. All around around great property and amenities the grounds keeper came by each morning and feed the deer and filled the bird feeders so you will have plenty of wildlife to see both day and night. It is located about 10m from Main Street fredricksburg so it’s a short drive to anything you want to see or do. We will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I have stayed at this cottage for 2 years in a row now to celebrate our anniversary. It is a lovely, quiet, secluded cottage with beautiful views of wildlife and a "homey" atmosphere. Perfect vacay spot for couples looking to get some R&R away from the kiddos. We can't wait to come back next year!

We've stayed here several times over the years. We love all the wildlife and privacy. It was wonderful to see Peaches again and look forward to seeing her new baby. We will visit again!

We had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, and watching the wildlife everyday! The deer are very entertaining sometimes lol. The hot tub was awesome and very relaxing. The cottage is in a perfect location, not too far out of town, but definitely far enough. It's secluded for privacy so that is a plus!! I would say the bed should be replaced, it wasn't comfortable, but all in all we had a great stay and will definitely be back! The Lone Star grill, and Catfish Haven were some of our favorites to eat at. And Andy's on Washington St was really great for breakfast!

Awesome cabin. Very peaceful. Enjoyed the bikes and the cabin had everything we needed during our stay. Will definitely be back and stay in the same cabin.
