This was a sweet condo that was very affordable for the size. We had 4 women share, but could have had 6 comfortably. The condo was clean and had the basics. The pool area was nice and the location was close to the lake, close to state line and was a very pretty neighborhood to walk in. I'd recommend and am also looking to rent it again next year.

All in all, we were happy with the place. There was an issue with one TV that never got resolved (Roku missing) but not a big deal. The room itself and the location worked out nicely.

Location is walking distance to groceries and casinos. Beds were comfortable, kitchen adequate and it was quiet. This place met all of our needs. However it could use some updating, mainly carpet and bathrooms. I am not ultra picky but the carpet is pretty bad, very dark stains and a little dirty. Walk around in light colored socks and they turn dark very quickly. Others have mentioned it, time to replace it! On the hottest day the pool was closed. Not the property owners fault but it was frustrating. I would like to say I would recommend this property to a friend but due to the carpet I would have to say no.

The place is nice enough, but there are a few things that need a bit of improving. First of all the pictures are a bit misleading since it is an older place and the pictures show something a bit nicer looking. Also, the thermostat would not let us raise temperature above 68 degress and as it gets colder this could be more of a concern. It did have a nice gas fireplace that kept the living area warm, but the rooms got quite cold at night. The TV's were also an issue since most of us don't have Apple TV loaded on our phones and the TV's in the rooms only had that. The cable TV was quite unstable and the remotes hard to figure out - they also didn't have fresh batteries so I had to replace them all.

The property is on the ground floor, conveniently located less than a mile away from Heavenly and Safeway. The kitchen is well-stocked, but there was only a small amount of diluted dish soap and nothing to wash dishes with (sponges, brush, etc.). The kitchen has the only working, well-adjustable faucet: the faucets in the bathrooms are very old, outdated and need to be replaced. There are two settings for water temperature: either icy cold or scalding hot. This can be very dangerous; especially, for small children. The master bathroom was dirty - hair on the floor and walls and both bathrooms need to be completely remodeled (wall tile is cracked and moldy). Each room has an HD flat screen TV, but the TVs are not secured in any way, just sitting on a unsafe piece of furniture, which is again a big danger to small children if it were to tip over, not to mention the hanging cables behind the TV (uncovered and unorganized under a layer of dust). I would recommend this property to a family with older kids (no toddlers or small kids) and would not rent again unless the changes were made. Overall, it met our needs.

We had a lovely week, and the condo was convenient and set among the pines. The only problem was that the TV remotes didn't work. (The instructions sheet said "Use the Sony remote" but there were no Sony remotes in sight.) We were stubborn and kept trying. But since we were staying for a week and wanted to watch a few movies, after 3 days we finally called the rental company, and they sent the IT person over. He couldn't make them work either -- apparently the owner had replaced the equipment without changing the remotes or the instructions sitting out for the renter. (The correct remotes were probably in the locked cabinet.) The IT guy replaced the remotes, gave us new instructions, then we were fine.

Very clean. We had an ant problem. Only problem.

We have been staying at Bavarian Village annually for the past 18 years and very comfortable with the unit we usually rent. Bavarian Village will always be our getaway for summer and winter.

We had a wonderful, fun time in beautiful Lake Tahoe.<br/>We have been vacationing there for over 40 years.<br/>Our stay was very comfortable. We are repeat renters.

The condo was clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed except food. The pool was warm and the hot tub clean and hot. It was a quiet place for sleeping, beds very comfortable. Centrally located.

We were in Lake Tahoe for a wedding and our location was the best of the group. It was close to the main road and the warm pool and spa were great.

My family and I had a great time, perfect place to stay. Close to everything.

fine place.could not understand the mix up with the reservation process concerning my credit,the check in info which i had to call for when my reservation had been paid for much earlier.

Overall, it was very good. The unit is nicely furnished and comfortable to stay in.<br/>One problem was that the oven didn't work. We reported it to the mgt. company and were told a maintenance man would repair it, but nobody ever came to repair it.
