This 2,600 square foot home was built in 1892 and is all about its exceptional location on Historic 3rd Avenue yet just steps from the heart of Durango's tourist district. Third Avenue has long been known as "The Boulevard," and is recognized in the National Register of Historical Places. A true showcase of late 1800's and early 1900's revival and Victorian architecture, this residence is just two short blocks from Durango's Historic Main Avenue with its plentiful shops, restaurants and vibrant events calendar.
While close to the center of downtown, it offers quiet privacy away from the hustle and bustle of and also features convenient access to hiking and biking trails out the back door. This home bridges over a century of its storied existence, preserving the exquisite aspects of the original design with a classically updated interior.
The residence was completely remodeled in 2018 and features all new furnishings and there are TVs in both bedrooms in addition to the main living space and the basement, Central AC, Washer/Dryer and 2 assigned parking spots (1 is covered) adjacent to the home. The original hard wood floors, exposed brick, crown molding and many other historic features have been retained.

Cancellation Policy: A payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 45 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within forty-five (45) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than forty-five (45) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (rafting trips, fishing trips, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
