ABOUT THE HOUSE
This quiet two-story home includes a nicely finished lower level/basement. On the first floor, you'll find the living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.
The full kitchen has modern stainless steel appliances that include a Jenn-Air gas stove/oven, Bosch double-door fridge with water and ice dispenser, and Kenmore dishwasher. Chefs will appreciate the high-end cookware and additional small appliances.
When dinnertime rolls around, gather everyone at the dining room table, which expands to seat up to eight guests.
Cozy up in the evenings in the living room, where you will find a recliner, coffee table, couch with a seating for three, and a wood-burning fireplace with stone surround.
The lower level is accessed by stairs off the kitchen, and is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa with seating for three, a 55” big-screen plasma TV, and a bathroom housing a washer/dryer unit; there is also direct access to the backyard from this room.
The master bedroom is on the upper level, accessible by a spiral staircase. Guests in this room will tuck into a king bed and will enjoy an en-suite bathroom with glass-door shower with subway tiled walls.
The other two guest rooms include one set up for kids with twin bunkbeds, and another with a full-size bed. Guests in these rooms will share a bath outfitted with a clawfoot tub and pedestal sink.
Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood has its own distinct character. Some areas are quiet and restful, others are bustling with great restaurants, coffeeshops, grocery stores, and lively parks.
Getting downtown to see the sites is a snap thanks to frequent nearby public transit stops.
Green Lake Park, Woodland Park Zoo (and rose garden), and several smaller parks are within walking distance of the house.
Neighboring Fremont is a must-visit destination, with its funky boutiques, renowned restaurants, cultural arts scene, and specialty markets.
The Burke-Gilman Trail is easily accessed. Enjoy a long bike ride or leisurely stroll along the waters of Puget Sound and Lake Washington. If you want to get out on the water, rent kayaks or plan to take the Duck Tour—a great way to learn all about Emerald City.
Seattle has convenient light rail service between downtown and the airport. The light rail stops in the downtown bus tunnel underneath Westlake shopping center—a must-see for serious shoppers.
