Dog Friendly Partial Ocean View Duplex Renovated in 2021! This 1970's 2-bedroom 1.5-bathroom downstairs duplex marries retro and modern astonishingly well!
As guests enter through the front door of this downstairs duplex, you are greeted by cool coastal colors layered with the vitality and boldness of the furnishings, echoing the sentiment of the sun and sea. Welcome to Amelia Island...This living space with a retro vibe containing a sleeper sofa is perfect for relaxing, reading, playing games or watching TV. Flip through the vintage postcards of travelers gone by; sharing stories of their time spent on the Island. There's a record player with records to add to the nostalgia of the bungalow.
You're on island-time now and have a well-stocked kitchen with your choice of a keurig or drip coffee maker. Prepare those meals that you've been too busy to make back home; you know the ones...savory and tender, oh yes, and that one, sweet and decadent. Gather in the kitchen with your loved ones making memories and swapping recipes.
When it is time to retire for the evening, there are two remarkably decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and sound machine for inducing tranquility and rest. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms are adorned with room darkening curtains. So, dare to dream of the sand and sea, then wake to the reality that it is just a 5-minute leisurely stroll away.
This duplex offers 1.5 bathrooms. The washer and dryer share the same space as the half bath. Please use the outdoor shower to wash the sand away before re-entering the bungalow. For your modern conveniences, there are smart TVs for Streaming, Bluetooth speakers, free Wi-Fi and a desk for those who can work remotely.
This property is located on the quiet North end of Amelia Island. It is steps to 4N Beach Access and within walking distance to Main Beach where there is a playground, basketball court, and skateboard ramps. Salt Life and Sandbar restaurants, Fort Clinch, the Recreation Center with pool and workout rooms are all within walking distance of this bungalow. Historic Downtown is just a short drive away.
Fresh linens, towels and a starter kit of disposables are provided (a limited number of laundry detergent, dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags).
This is a dog friendly property for one well behaved dog with a paid pet fee and signed pet policy. Please, no excessive barking. Please respect the neighbors. Dogs under 40 lbs are welcomed. For larger dogs, please call to inquire.
