The house allows parking for up to 5 cars - 1 of the garage spots and four in the driveway.
The main floor of our home has a kitchen, family room, dining room, and guest bedroom with one full bathroom. There are stained concrete floors throughout this main floor and an outdoor patio.
The second floor has three bedrooms and three bathrooms each with its own TV. The beautiful master bedroom suite comes with a comfortable king, attached master bathroom and flat screen TV and private deck. The second bedroom with queen size bed and hallway bathroom. Plus a third adorable bunk bedroom that sleeps 4 with attached bathroom.
The second and third floor of the home have hardwood floors and amazing ocean and bay views. The third floor of our Port Aransas retreat is stunning with a massive open living and dining area, spacious gourmet kitchen, buffet bar, and half bathroom.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for your beach getaway- including a Margaritaville machine!
From the third floor our guests will be able to walk out to our roof top deck and enjoy the 360-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico, Corpus Christi Channel, and Port Aransas!
You will be mesmerized by the ocean views from the master bedroom deck on the second floor, the living room on the third floor and the roof deck.
Port Aransas is on the very northern tip of Mustang Island at the intersection of Harbor Island and St. Jo's Island. It is an eco-tourism area, with lots of wildlife including a huge variety of migratory birds. Bay and deep sea fishing is excellent with many charter boats in the marina.
Just 30 minutes away is the USS Lexington and right next door is the Texas State Aquarium. Our guests can drive to the nearest beach access which is a quick 5 minute drive away!
We are located approximately a 10-minute drive to town.
If you are a golfer, you can grab your clubs and head over to the Palmilla Golf Course just down the road.
Parking is restricted to four vehicles and all must be parked on the property. The vehicles must be parked at the home.
Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below:
1) Mermaid Retreat VW 63 provides 5 paved parking spaces for 5 medium sized vehicles.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by Port A Beach House Company. All tags must be returned to Port A Beach House Company upon checkout. $25.00 replacement fee for each lost tag
3) All vehicles must be parked in the driveway of VW 63. No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways.
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced.
Mermaid Retreat provides ample parking for 12 guests, properly planning the correct number of vehicles prior to your departure will enhance your vacation experience.
