This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful ocean view. The house was very clean and well equipped on most things other than no extra toilet paper, no paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, or any starter supplies for the week which is quite unusual in our experiences with other rentals. We had nine people in our group and there was plenty of space for all of us. The internet was fine however the phone reception was poor. The washer had some problems but the office did an awesome job in sending someone to fix it right away. Overall, we would stay here again but still recommend that the owner furnish a few essentials.
Loved the house and all the room it had, beautiful decorations. The view from the top deck is absolutely amazing. I was disappointed in the lower deck, picture on the website are when it was new not now. It is dirty and run down, no tables downstairs to eat at, party lights do not work only the big overhead lights. The grill is totally rusted. We do a vacation at Crystal Beach every year and enjoy the downstairs for meal time and to let the children run and play, but not here. My oldest grandson (7) would not take a shower in the lower deck because it was so run down. That is was the only complaint and disappointment I had, should update the photos so people know what they are getting. I would 100% stay her again.
We enjoyed our stay in 1 Holiday. The cabin is beautiful, furnished well, and is in a great location. Minutes from the big store and easy access to the beach.
Perfect and immaculate home with a beautiful view of the ocean!
We lived the house the moment we stepped thru the door! Open kitchen, a checkers barrel and reading sitting ledge to sit or lat down and read just added that perfect touch! The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. Beds were comfy too! Master bath was gorgeous. We will be back in summer!
