The Truckee Donner Land Trust’s mission is to preserve and protect scenic, historic and recreational lands with high natural resource values in the Truckee Donner region and manage recreational activities on these lands in a sustainable manner.
2020 will their 30th anniversary, and in those 3 decades they’ve protected nearly 40,000 acres of open space, built more than 45 miles of trails, run a public campground, and been stewards of the lands for habitat, forest health, and watershed protection.
