Their beautiful new tasting room just opened to the public as of January 2012 and guests say that through chatting with the friendly staff, you’ll learn more about the history of the local wine industry than you will at any other winery. Stop 2: Mutt Lynch Winery in Healdsburg - Bark Less, Wag More! Not only do they have some delicious wines, but they also donate a portion of every bottle purchased to animal shelters. You’ll be sure to see the winery dog, Patch, a rescue Greyhound from New Zealand. All dogs are welcome, so this is a great place to go if you want to bring your pup along for the day. Stop 3: Lincoln Avenue Spa in Calistoga The spa has been in the heart of Calistoga for over 20 years. They are famous for their unique mud bath experience and relaxing massages. Stop 5: Maya Restaurant
After a day full of wine tasting, you're probably ready to sit down and grab some food. Take a drive to Downtown Sonoma and get some delicious Mexican eats. The owner, Eduardo, is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. He's always at the bar serving up delicious margaritas and other drinks from their different varieties of tequila and other spirits. Fish tacos, pozole, and enchiladas are some of RedAwning staff favorites!
