Digital Marketing Coordinator

If you love e-commerce, content development, testing tools and analytics, we want to talk to you! RedAwning is hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator to help develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing content and campaigns across all digital channels including our own websites. Only 1-3 years experience is required, but you must be willing to work in Emeryville, California, and most importantly you must be curious, innovative, and driven.

You should have an understanding of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution for multiple programs and products. This is the right position for a rising rockstar. You will work with a larger marketing and digital marketing leadership team, across internal departments, and be responsible for working with agencies and outside vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external agencies to develop B2B and B2C website content strategy. This includes social, meta, paid search, and email marketing.

  • Create, implement and manage content publishing strategy and digital marketing plans in conjunction with the launch of new brand programs and promotions.

  • Maintain proprietary websites and development of new content and campaign needs.

  • Ability to understand analytics and measure success using Google Analytics, email marketing metrics, and other revenue or customer service KPI’s. Ensuring enhancements and strategies are based on data-driven decisions.

  • Identify, test and develop new site enhancements and merchandising opportunities to meet digital conversion, revenue and traffic goals.

  • Understanding how to work with a CMS to update sites across multiple web platforms as needed (Wordpress, Drupal, etc).

  • Manage presentations for internal communications, in-market visits and webinars, and/or trade shows.

  • Maintain and monitor a digital budget.

  • Assist with the design, build and maintenance of our social communities and social media presence for all our key audiences.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.


  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field

  • 1-3 years proven working experience in digital marketing

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences, managing databases, and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

Individual Owner Account Executive

RedAwning, a fast-growing travel and technology company, is looking for a Account Executive to join an innovative team that is developing new programs under the RedAwning umbrella. RedAwning is seeking a sales professional who wants to be part of a team that is pushing the envelope in the accommodations and vacation rental industry. You will be helping RedAwning to find, build relationships with, and sign up new customers. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for technology, experience in the travel industry, strong work ethics, a customer-centric mindset, and can communicate clearly, effectively, and persuasively.

The primary goal of the of the Account Executive is to identify market opportunities, develop a sales pipeline and meet monthly and quarterly sales booking and revenue quotas selling RedAwning products and services to the vacation rental market in the assigned geographic territory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of quality prospects and manage the sales stages from initiate to close

  • Generate list of prospective partners through research, cold-calling, internet and professional network

  • Meet and exceed sales revenue and booking goals and overall objectives

  • Educate prospects and clients about RedAwning’s products and services through meetings, presentations and in-market visits

  • Clearly articulate RedAwning’s value proposition and return on investment

  • Collaborate and work as a team with Sales Account Executives, Business Development Reps, Account Managers and other stakeholders.

  • Involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing

  • Share industry, deal, and sales “best practice” knowledge with other members of the sales team

  • Understand the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position RedAwning to win


  • Strong consultative communication, organizational and presentation skills with proven ability to negotiate and sell at all decision-making levels

  • Ability to manage complex sales and develop analytical strategic plans

  • Ability to develop a strong pipeline through cold-calling and other grassroots methods, with evidence of success

  • Experience in online travel, technology, distribution, or start-up environments

  • Understanding of managing a sales funnel through a CRM application (e.g. Salesforce or Hubspot)

Individual Owner Client Success Manager is a rapidly growing vacation property network and travel technology company. We offer guests instant, hotel-style online reservations for over 100,000 properties in thousands of destinations worldwide, while providing owners and property managers with marketing and reservation services to market their properties more effectively through all major online travel channels. RedAwning is the leading supplier of vacation rentals to major online travel channels, including, Expedia, Homeaway/VRBO, Flipkey/Tripadvisor,and Airbnb.
As the individual owner program Client Service & Success manager you will be responsible for servicing RedAwning’s individual owners and their property listings, from on-boarding to full-distribution to maximize bookings and revenue for each client for the year. You will work cross-functionally with the Intake, Marketing, Onboarding, Account Management, and Channel Management teams to get your client the best results and performance and will initially report to the RedAwning Marketing Manager.


  • Establish rapport with new owners who have signed on to program to discuss status, expectations and progress of their distribution and performance goals, and to keep them apprised of steps that can be taken immediately, short-term and long-term to hit goals, targets or strategic objectives.

  • Foster trust, and a two-way partnership to ensure retention, loyalty and commitment to program and to drive referrals and leads to expand the owner program.

  • Analyse and record individual owner’s booking success. Monitor daily, weekly and monthly bookings and where necessary, suggest and implement strategies for maximizing booking conversion.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan and shape owner materials for acquisition, onboarding, education, customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Work with sales team to identify new opportunities, forums and tradeshows to grow and expand owner property portfolio.

  • Provide reports and attend meetings as requested or needed.

Skills Preferred:

  • Experience or Degree in Marketing, Business Development, Account Management or Client Service

  • Highly motivated self starter, at least 1 year experience in client service

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal -- a relationship builder

  • Results-focused and metrics driven, ability to work based on a variety of KPI metrics

Guest Engagement Coordinator

The Guest Engagement Coordinator is a great opportunity with a lot of potential for someone with excellent communication skills and leadership qualities, and who enjoys guest-service and problem solving. Your primary responsibilities will be responding to guest inquiries, reviews, surveys and emails via a variety of channels, including our advertising channels, with the aim of ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty, or recovery, with each response. You will also be analyzing and reporting complaints, liaising closely with Channel Management, Guest Services, Marketing and Communications, Marketing Analytics, Account Managers and Property Ops teams to coordinate and track resolutions, and to improve issues and metrics from data you report. Under the supervision of RedAwning managers, you will be developing new procedures, and improving or designing and implementing guest retention campaigns. You will ensure that our guest face is the best that it can be, at every opportunity. With your energy and support, you will motivate our reservations and guest service teams to maximize our potential for guest satisfaction and live up to our brand promise: Vacation Rentals you can trust.

Overview of Responsibilities:


  • Distribution channels (Airbnb,, Expedia, Homeaway, Tripadvisor)

  • Respond to reviews, collect data

  • RedAwning Guest Post-Stay Survey: monitor responses daily or weekly on FluidSurvey.


  • Proactively resolve situations where guests are very dissatisfied, working with relevant RedAwning departments

  • Liaise with Guest Services Manager, Account Managers or Property Ops to hand off current issues affecting stays still in progress.

  • Devise and implement plans to drive more positive guest-experiences, trusting relationships and guest loyalty

  • Better Business Bureau: liaise with guests and BBB personnel, to respond to kudos and complaints and maintain our A+ rating on BBB.

  • AnswerDash: Monitor for new guest support tickets; update published responses; improve metrics

  • Google+: Respond to kudos and complaints; proactively encourage satisfied guests to use G+.


  • FluidSurveys: create weekly or monthly reports/word graphs using FluidSurveys to keep RedAwning Reservations team, Analytics Manager and PM Account Managers informed of trends and issues.

  • Organize all channel reviews by manager and provide guest satisfaction metrics on managers.

  • Track guest satisfaction on channels and provide success metrics.

  • Devise and maintain reports for directing and tracking issues and resolutions

Skill requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self starter, ability to work independently and stay on task

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, project, and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage projects in parallel, flex with changing priorities, handle essential workload, and work under tight deadlines
