Sleeps 4, from $295/night - When you enter this private courtyard of this luxury one bedroom, you are welcomed by a large hot tub that seats six. This gorgeously decorated, elevated cottage has cherry wood floors throughout, with beautiful area rugs.

The full bath includes a marble floor and enclosed tub, while the fully equipped kitchen features black granite countertops, a full size range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, espresso maker, and dishwasher.

The bedroom has a pillow-topped California King-sized bed. Proceed through a set of interior French doors to the living room, where the comfortable leather sleeper sofa folds out to become a Queen-sized bed with a tempur-pedic mattress. Lovely details include a gas fireplace for heat and ambiance.

Two sets of French doors open onto a second story deck, with peaceful views of the redwood forest. Here, there is a seasonal outdoor living/dining area. In the gated, fenced, private yard below, there is an enormous, sunny lower deck, with a wonderful entertainment area. There is a gas barbeque grill, two umbrella table dining areas, and Adirondack loungers. This cottage comes equipped with cable TV featuring free movie channels, wireless internet service, and access to a cell phone. We provide luxury linens, oversize towels, and robes for your comfort.

For larger groups the Heron Cottage is next to the Stellar Jay and Hummingbird Cottages. Privacy gates between cottages can be unlocked and opened if a group were to rent the whole compound. With all gates unlocked, guests have access to each other’s yards and the common area. Here are picnic tables, sitting areas, and a campfire ring for morning and evening gatherings. You may rent more than one cottage to accommodate your party’s needs, up to 16 adults. Additionally, this cottage can be rented with an external sleeping cabin (Queen bed, w/c), which is available for $80/nt or $450/wk.
