Opened in 1976, Tahoe Donner Golf Course is the oldest golf course in the Truckee area. Over its first 31 years the course earned itself a reputation as one of the premiere golf courses in the High Sierra, but, after a 2007 remodeling by architect Cary Bickler and renowned shaper Eddie Krikorian, it raised the bar even higher. Golf Digest Magazine nominated Tahoe Donner Golf Course for Best Remodeled Golf Course in America, and the course has become known for the "Best Greens Tahoe."
